Summary:

Reporting to the Production Manager, the Logistics Supervisor will take care of the day to day functions of the logicstics team. 

Responsibilities:

  • Support simplification and standardization of processes to accelerate logistics and enhance efficiencies
  • Coordinate scheduling, organization of space and thematic format.
  • Develop and initiate monthly reports having required project timelines, corporate metrics and productivity measurements.
  • Support inventory management consisting of reconciling and maintaining of finished goods inventory
  • Organize and oversee training, hiring career development and enrichment of all department associates to ensure effective supply-chain procedures
  • Ensure effective and timely implementation of all logistics daily operational goals inclusive of shipping functions and inventory management
  • Identify opportunities of enhancements and suggest solutions for improvement to management
  • planning for logistics or transportation issues
  • Maintaining reports and records of inventory
  • Managing and coordinating with the transportation team
  • Supervising and training any warehouse staff members
  • Tracking the status of goods in real-time to ensure contracts are being fulfilled
  • Delivering solutions to any logistics problems while maintaining a high quality of service
  • Excellent communications skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of staff, stakeholders and the general public.
  • Demonstrated skills in the use of ERP system.

Requirements and Skills: 

  • Advanced English language skills
  • Minimum a completion of secondary high school diploma
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • 2 to 5+ years of experience in a supervisory role in operational logistics in any manufacturing or distribution industry.
