RMA Electronic Technician

Summary:

We are looking for an experienced electronic technician who is able to test, troubleshoot and repair electronic circuit boards for conformance to established standards.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Testing of electronic devices and assemblies.
  • Repairing of electronic devices and assemblies.
  • Maintain a high level of workmanship.
  • Provide technical support as required.
  • Work within a team environment to ensure smooth operations.

 

Requirements and Skills: 

  • Completion of a post-secondary Electronics program from a recognized technical institution or equivalent credentials.
  • 2 years of practical experience in the testing and repairing of electronic assemblies.
  • Ability to read and understand schematics.
  • Surface mount soldering skills.
  • Familiarity with electronic diagnostic equipment such as digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, frequency generators, etc.
  • Basic computer literacy.
  • Written and oral English communication skills.
  • Additional experience with the test and repair of fire alarm systems such as Mircom, Secutron would be desirable.
