Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Firmware Engineer to lead the design, development, and integration of embedded firmware for our advanced FX-4000 Modular Fire Alarm Control Platform (FACP). In this critical role, you’ll help build life-safety solutions that protect people and property around the globe. Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain embedded firmware for FX-4000 modules using Quadros RTOS or similar real-time operating systems.
Integrate and support communication protocols such as ARCNET, BACnet, RS-485, enabling reliable inter-module and external device communication.
Collaborate on the configuration and optimization of FX-4000 HAL, ANC-6000, and other modular hardware components.
Develop and maintain system-level diagnostics, annunciator mapping, and addressable loop integrations.
Debug complex firmware and hardware issues using tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and protocol analyzers.
Analyze and optimize system performance, timing determinism, and overall reliability across the FX-4000 architecture.
Work with graphical monitoring tools to validate and verify system integration.
Participate in architecture reviews and contribute to the design of scalable, modular fire alarm solutions.
Mentor junior engineers, conduct design/code reviews, and support robust documentation and knowledge sharing.
Ensure work is performed in compliance with ISO 9001 quality standards and company procedures.
Requirements and Skills:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of embedded firmware development experience, ideally in safety-critical or industrial environments.
Proficiency in C/C++ and experience with real-time operating systems, such as Quadros RTOS, FreeRTOS, VxWorks, QNX, or similar.
Familiarity with toolchains like Visual DSP, GNU C, STCube, and Code Composer.
Strong understanding of the OSI model, especially application and data link layers.
Extensive experience with communication protocols such as ARCNET, BACnet, RS-485, RS-232, SPI, and Ethernet/IP.
Ability to interpret schematics and debug complex hardware/firmware interactions using lab instruments including oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.
Comfortable working with modular hardware platforms and addressing embedded integration challenges.
Preferred:
Experience with fire alarm systems (FACP) and/or building automation solutions is highly desired.
Knowledge of FX-4000 architecture or similar fire alarm control panels (FACP).
Familiarity with graphical monitoring tools such as OpenGN.
Understanding of DFT (Design for Testability) concepts and manufacturing test strategies.

Summary:

Summary:

Summary:
The Warehouse Team Lead will organize inventory, analyze incoming shipment information and supervise all related warehouse activities. The candidate will look after incoming parts for QC Inspection, will provide documentation of all shipments, look after the preventive maintenance of all equipment, instruments & machines. Key Responsibilities:

Summary:
Mircom is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Service Coordinator for a six (6) month contract with proven experience in handling all service and construction related activities. The Service Coordinator will report to the Manager and work closely with the service and sales team. With that, from time to time, they will assist with light Warehouse duties as needed. Key Responsibilities:

Summary:

Summary:

Key Responsibilites:
Inspect solder joints, part polarity, and component placement.

Trim component leads on electronic boards.

Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse Supervisor to lead and support a small Pick & Pack team, ensuring all orders are accurately pulled, packed, and shipped while maintaining high quality standards. This role involves managing inventory accuracy, overseeing cycle counts, coordinating shipments, and ensuring timely order fulfillment. The candidate will also be responsible for a mix of administrative and hands-on warehouse duties.

Key Responsibilites:

Summary:
Under the supervision of the Warehouse Supervisor, the Warehouse Associate will be responsible for the storage, movement, receiving, preserving and staging of materials, while providing the highest quality of service to all customers. Summary:
The Fire Alarm Systems Estimator will be responsible for estimating Fire Alarm System material and labour for projects which the Project Management Office (PMO) manage, regionally and/or nationally within Canada; this includes reviewing Consulting Engineers design drawings, Material take-off (either manually and/or using Procore), Bill of Material (BOM) creation, Labour (hours/cost) estimations for system Test and Inspection and Verification, Quote creation in AX.
