Summary:
The successful candidate will oversee Mircom’s service operations for the Maple Ridge location. The Service Manager will organize and manage all service activities and performance of the service team.
Key Responsibilities:
Establish and manage technician installation schedules to ensure optimum work load efficiencies and timely equipment deliveries.
Mentor, train and develop skills with Technicians.
Coordinate installation activities with General Contractors, Engineers and building officials to ensure all documentation and approvals are delivered.
Create an environment which achieves ultimate customer service, while meeting or exceeding branch targets.
Monitor direct labour hours, project costs, and work schedules.
Coordinate and assist with expediting material requests, replenishing truck stocks and requesting other necessary supplies for technicians.
Ensure vehicles are clean and in safe operating condition by conducting regular inspection.
Ensure all safety guidelines are followed and that the company is in compliance with all regulatory rules and regulations.
Requirements and Skills:
3-5 years of experience in the Fire and Life Safety industry.
Proven manager/supervisor experience in the Fire Alarm industry.
Canadian Fire Alarm Association (CFAA) certification or ASTTBC (Applied Science Technologists and Technicians of BC) certification in fire alarm.
Proficiency to review drawings, conduct field surveys, prepare all required information to perform complete installation activities.
Strong computer skills and competency in Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to work flexible hours including weekends to meet customer/technician requirements.
Strong organizational skills, a positive attitude and the ability to learn quickly.
Possess a valid driver’s license and a clean driver's abstract
Strong verbal and written communications in the English language
Must be able to handle fast-paced environment.
Work with project management and meet on a weekly basis.
Be part of health & safety team.
Strong knowledge of Inspect Point, D365, Dayforce software a must.

Summary:
Under the PCB Supervisor, the Post Wave and Visual Inspection Operator/Assembler will be responsible for visual inspection, hand soldering, cutting leads and working with various hand tools to produce quality circuit boards. This role is a full time role, afternoon shift.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspection of solder joints, polarity, and placements of parts.
Repair of post wave solder boards and components.
Manually clipping component leads from electronic boards.
Hand solder components onto circuit boards as required.
Use torque drivers for installing parts onto circuit board for final assembly.
Ensuring proper manufacturing quantities are labeled as per job, including all labels on boards, information on finished goods, and quantities on post wave boxes.
Maintaining a clean workspace at all times.
All other duties as required.
Ensure work is performed in compliance with ISO 9001 quality standards and company procedures.
Requirements and Skills:
Completion of a High School Diploma or Vocational Equivalent.
Must be able to read, write and understand English.
Knowledge of electronic components and assembly is an asset.
Works well in a team setting.
Understand IPC specifications as related to PCB & Assembly manufacturing.
Knowledge of IPC-J-STD-001 is helpful along with IPC -610.
Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds), crouch, bend, walk and stand for long periods.

Requirements and Skills:
Technicians shall have 3-5 years of experience as a Service or Installation Technician within the Fire Sprinkler industry
NICET I / II certification or accumulated equivalent experience
Osha certification, apprentice certifications or other trade qualification would be an asset
Strong knowledge of industry codes (NFPA)
Excellent planning and organization skills
Must have valid driver’s license and pass a background check and drug test
Ability to communicate in English both verbally and in writing
Ability to lift equipment and tools up to 50lbs and climb ladders and scaffolding
Competency in Microsoft Word and Excel is an asset

Résumé:
Le ou la technicien(ne)/programmeur(euse) en circuits imprimés assemblés (PCBA) est responsable de l’entretien, de la programmation et du soutien de l’ensemble des équipements de production et des installations liés à l’assemblage des circuits imprimés (PCBA), y compris les procédés SMT et PTH, tels que la soudure à la vague et la soudure sélective. Ce poste veille à assurer un rendement optimal des équipements, à réduire au minimum les temps d’arrêt et à garantir le respect des normes de sécurité, de qualité et d’exploitation.
Principales responsabilités:
Assurer l’entretien et le soutien de tous les équipements de production et des installations liés aux PCBA, y compris les procédés SMT et PTH.
Effectuer la maintenance préventive (MP) sur tous les équipements de production et de procédé, conformément au programme de MP établi.
Tenir à jour et avec exactitude les registres de maintenance préventive.
Dépanner et réparer les équipements afin de réduire au minimum les temps d’arrêt.
Réduire au minimum les arrêts de machine grâce à une intervention rapide et à la résolution des causes fondamentales.
Aviser le superviseur ou le chef d’équipe de toute condition anormale.
Créer, maintenir et optimiser les programmes pour l’ensemble des équipements de PCBA.
Configurer et programmer :
Imprimantes de pâte à braser
Machines de pose automatisée (pick-and-place)
Systèmes d’inspection de pâte à braser (SPI – Solder Paste Inspection)
Systèmes d’inspection optique automatisée 3D (AOI – Automated Optical Inspection)
Machines de soudure à la vague (PTH)
Systèmes de soudure sélective à la vague
Optimiser les programmes des machines en fonction de l’efficacité, de la qualité et du débit de production.
Maintenir des copies de sauvegarde de tous les programmes et s’assurer que la documentation est à jour.
Fournir un soutien technique aux lignes de production PCBA.
Travailler en collaboration au sein d’une équipe afin d’assurer le bon déroulement des opérations.
Créer et mettre à jour les instructions de travail pour les procédés SMT et les processus d’assemblage en ligne.
Repérer et recommander des améliorations aux procédés et aux équipements.
Respecter en tout temps l’ensemble des règles et règlements en matière de santé et sécurité.
Se conformer aux POS, aux instructions de travail, aux exigences de formation et aux meilleures pratiques.
Veiller au respect des normes IPC-A-610 et à la bonne identification des composants électroniques.
Recommander et maintenir l’inventaire des pièces de rechange nécessaires pour l’équipement PCBA.
Tenir à jour des registres précis de tous les programmes, journaux et documents, tant en format papier qu’électronique.
Former les opérateurs aux réglages de base et aux procédures d’entretien préventif.
Fournir un soutien technique continu et des conseils au personnel de production.

Résumé:

1 à 3 ans d'expérience en protection incendie, construction, systèmes d'alarme/détection ou gestion de projet connexe.

Capacité à comprendre et à respecter tous les codes publiés, les normes et les spécifications uniques du projet.

Développement des processus de fabrication:
Développer, mettre en œuvre et optimiser les processus de fabrication d'assemblages de circuits imprimés, en mettant l'accent sur les lignes de production SMT et l'assemblage final des produits de sécurité.
Soutenir l'introduction de nouveaux produits (NPI) en définissant les flux de processus, les instructions de travail et les besoins en outillage.

Summary:

Responsibilities:

Summary:
Under the PCB Supervisor, the Post Wave and Visual Inspection Operator/Assembler will be responsible for visual inspection, hand soldering, cutting leads and working with various hand tools to produce quality circuit boards.This is a full time role based from our facility in Vaughan, ON
Key Responsibilities:
Inspection of solder joints, polarity, and placements of parts.
Repair of post wave solder boards and components.
Manually clipping component leads from electronic boards.
Hand solder components onto circuit boards as required.
Use torque drivers for installing parts onto circuit board for final assembly.
Ensuring proper manufacturing quantities are labeled as per job, including all labels on boards, information on finished goods, and quantities on post wave boxes.
Maintaining a clean workspace at all times.
All other duties as required.
Requirements and Skills:
Completion of a High School Diploma or Vocational Equivalent.
Must be able to read, write and understand English.
Knowledge of electronic components and assembly is an asset.
Works well in a team setting.
Understand IPC specifications as related to PCB & Assembly manufacturing.
Knowledge of IPC-J-STD-001 is helpful along with IPC -610.
Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds), crouch, bend, walk and stand for long periods.

Summary:
With a global mandate, the Product Analyst (PA) is a subject matter expert who will be reporting to the Director of Product Management. The PA will act as a liaison between internal sales, customers, external associations, and the factory to ensure that product information is communicated effectively. As a key member of the Mircom Product team, the Product Analyst maintains a balance between business and quantitative product support. The role requires knowledge of the product life cycle, including requirements development, design specifications, solution development, testing, support, and training.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform system inquiries, data mining, product analysis.
Handle daily inquiries from customers and internal departments regarding product issues (approvals, variations, pricing, cost, model numbers).
Provide support to the sales team by equipping them with product knowledge, competitive insights, and sales tools.
Produce regular Revenue/Sales Performance Dashboards for the Product Management team in Power Bi.
Gather requirements from customers, prospective customers, internal sales and professional services.
Assist Product Managers with various elements of Product Lifecycle Management. (Development, Introduction, Growth, Maturity, Decline and End of Life).
Define product requirements by researching existing client needs, competitive products, industry trends and utilizing Mircom subject matter expert knowledge.
Assist in developing and maintaining the product roadmap, prioritizing features and enhancements based on customer feedback and market trends.
Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive products in the fire alarm panel and access control industry to help drive the product development roadmap.
May represent Product Management on cross-functional teams for Process improvements and other initiatives such as SKU Simplification, new product launches or cost reduction
Participate in analyzing and designing new product features and enhancements.
Create product documentation, including datasheets, product specifications, and training materials.
Assist in planning and executing product launches, including pricing strategies, marketing collateral, and sales training.
Requirements and Skills:
At least one year of experience in business analysis, product analysis in a full-time job capacity or a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as engineering, or a related technical diploma.
Basic technical knowledge to understand product specifications and work closely with engineering teams.
Familiarity with the fire alarm panel and access control industry, including knowledge of regulations and standards is a strong asset
Engineering or Related Diploma is an asset.
Very Strong communication (written/oral) and presentation skills.
Excellent people, coordination and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues and third parties.
Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint).
High attention to detail to ensure product specifications and quality standards are met.
Microsoft Power BI and D365 experience are an asset
Demonstrated ability to tackle complex problems and make strategic decisions.
Ability to work collaboratively with others to achieve a common goal.

Organizational Quality Leadership
Develop and implement a comprehensive quality management strategy that covers all facets of the organization, including product design, development, manufacturing, testing, sales, service, and corporate functions, with an unwavering emphasis on safety.
Maintain and continuously strengthen ISO 9001 compliance and maturity toward world-class quality standards, ensuring that quality practices align with organizational growth and Mircom's mission to deliver best-in-class solutions
Own and continuously mature the Quality Management System (QMS) across all departments to ensure a consistent, rigorous, and holistic approach to quality assurance.

Develop and maintain strategic relationships with customers and suppliers to ensure that products and services consistently meet and exceed expectations and regulatory requirements.
Develop and manage supplier quality programs to ensure consistent material quality and component standards that support manufacturing excellence.
Ensure that customer quality concerns and feedback are addressed promptly and effectively.
Implement customer feedback loops to continually improve the quality of products and services.
Innovation and Technology Adoption
Stay abreast of emerging technologies relevant to the life safety and intelligent building systems industry, and evaluate their potential impact on quality management and product development.
Foster a culture of innovation by encouraging cross-functional collaboration between quality, product development, supply chain, manufacturing, field applications, and sales teams.
Requirements and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Management, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA, M.Eng., or M.Sc.) strongly preferred.
Minimum of 10–15 years of experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate, mentor, and guide a diverse, high-performing team.
Proven experience developing and implementing quality management systems and processes across an entire organization, including product design, manufacturing, and corporate functions.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all departments and at the executive level.
Proficiency in quality management software and statistical analysis tools (e.g., Minitab, JMP, or equivalent).
Deep knowledge of ISO 9001:2015; proven experience managing certification, compliance, and audit programs.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
Demonstrated proficiency in Measurement System Evaluation (MSE), Design of Experiments (DoE), Failure Modes & Effects Analysis (FMEA), and predictive statistics.
Certification in Quality Management (e.g., Six Sigma, ASQ) is highly desirable.
Experience in a regulated, safety-critical industry (e.g., life safety, fire & security systems, building automation, electronics, aerospace, or medical devices) is a strong asset.
Professional accreditation in Quality Management or Quality Engineering is preferred.
