Summary:

Requirements and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or a related field;
10+ years of experience in quality management within manufacturing, with 5+ years in leadership.
Proven track record in developing and implementing quality systems (ISO-9001/9004).
Well-defined approach to managing compliance to regulatory bodies (UL, FM)
Six Sigma (Black/Green Belt) and Lean Manufacturing experience highly desirable.
Strong leadership, data-driven decision-making, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Expertise in quality management tools, statistical analysis, and industry standards.
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across various departments.
Professional Accreditation in Quality Management or Quality Engineering (CQE, CQA, CMQ) is preferred.
Candidates must have a background in electronics, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

Summary:
Mircom is searching for a strong Senior Fire Alarm Technician to join our team in the Greater Toronto Area. As a key member of the Mircom service team, the Senior Fire Alarm Technician will be responsible for performing advanced level inspections, installations, programming, and servicing fire alarm systems, access control systems, intercom systems, and associated Fire Protection equipment. Key Responsibilities:

Complete and return inspection reports in a timely manner.
Provide technical support to customers as needed.
Provide operational training to end-users.

Provide training and guidance to junior technicians.
Requirements and Skills:
5 years or more years of experience as a Service Technician within the Fire Alarm industry.
Electronics diploma or equivalent from accredited college/university or documented and demonstrated trade qualification.
Technicians shall have Canadian Fire Alarm Association (CFAA) Registration.
Ability to communicate in English both verbally and in writing.
Ability to lift equipment and tools up to 70lbs and climb ladders and scaffolding.
Possess a valid and clean motor vehicle license (G License).

Summary:
The Business Development Manager (BDM) will be responsible for driving double-digit annual growth and expanding Mircom’s market share in the U.S. by executing a strategic sales plan. Summary:

Key Responsibilities:
Work with the product design team to document and implement requirements
Develop and maintain test plans for standard products developed by the company's Engineering Department.
Develop and maintain testing methodologies and practices which will enable the effective, efficient evaluation of new and updated hardware and software designs.
Test and evaluate hardware and software for new and upgraded products and systems as a part of the Engineering Department's testing and quality assurance process.
Prepare test reports on assigned projects, and work with Department designers to help resolve technical issues uncovered as a result of testing.

Summary:
We are a leading manufacturer specializing in the production and assembly of critical fire safety equipment. Our product manufactured at this facility includes smoke detectors, fire alarm speakers, NEC devices, sounder bases, and duct detectors, all of which play a vital role in safeguarding lives and properties. The Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing the manufacturing and assembly processes within the facility. They ensure production runs efficiently and meets quality standards while adhering to schedules. Furthermore, the Production Manager will contribute to the success of the Mircom Group of Companies by directing the production team to meet customer needs and achieve standards related to cost, line efficiencies, waste, safety and productivity. Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & ownership role to develop, implement and improve manufacturing assembly methods within a Lean manufacturing environment.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives throughout the production process.
Monitor production schedules and adjust as necessary to meet customer demand and delivery deadlines.
Planning and organizing production schedules for the production employees by creating and maintaining work instructions and Manufacturing Orders.
To identify and implement cost reduction opportunities through process, component and finished goods design.

Summary:
The Project Management Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the Project Manager with managing fire alarm installation projects in commercial, educational, healthcare and industrial facilities, positively representing the company in all client and architect/engineer interactions. Key Responsibilities:
Occassionally perform Programming, Verification and Inspection of fire alarm systems, access control and intercom systems, along with other fire protection equipment
Program to effectively navigate fire protection systems with our end users.

Summary:
Under the supervision of the Manager, this position is responsible for the safe, accurate assembly, insertion of electronic components and other related assembly in a timely fashion, with the help of complex machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
Set-up, run and troubleshoot Auto-insertion and SMT machines with minimum down time and minimum supervision
Perform quality inspection with the aid of Automatic Optical Inspection (AOI), Golden Sample or Bills of Material (BOM) and log it on the First Off template of the Manufacturing Order (MO)
Perform safety checks and preventative maintenance as required
Maintain PCB stock accurately, ensuring cleanliness and good organization
Use AOI to inspect all boards after processing on the machines

Machine operator certification an asset
Three years’ experience using Auto-insertion and SMT machinery
Ability to read work orders, follow production drawings, sample assemblies, and understand verbal instructions
Experience with current IPC class 2 standard for proper insertion, placement and reflow of components
Knowledge of appropriate materials, methods, and the tools required in various assembly processes
Knowledge of electronic components and electronic assembly is an asset
