Summary:
Reporting to the Senior Mechanical Designer, the Mechanical Designer is responsible for completing production intent design for developing practical solutions to mechanical and engineering problems that may arise during technology and product development in a timely manner. In addition, the Mechanical Designer is expected to play dynamic roles in participating or leading specific projects
Position Scope and Responsibilities:
Design and develop mechanical systems to achieve functional requirements, cost targets, and requirements of certification standards.
3D CAD Design and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) of component parts for mass production.
Manage all engineering document administration including design and analysis reports, 3D CAD files, Bill of Materials (BOM), mechanical drawing release, revision changes, and receiving inspection approvals.
Knowledge of Solidwork PDM is an asset.
Design assembly jigs and fixtures
Establish relationships with suppliers for parts and components.
Author assembly instructions and quality control procedures and installation/service instructions for each new product generation.
Participate and assist in system testing.
Provide timely updates to Senior Mechanical Designer identifying project risks & issues. Proactively propose solutions and swiftly implement new strategies, initiatives, and measures as requested.
Requirements and Skills
Minimum undergraduate degree in mechanical, mechatronics, or systems design engineering plus 5+ years of work experience in product development, engineering or manufacturing.
Solid understanding and experience in all associated aspects of product development including product specifications, design, prototyping, tooling, manufacturing, budgeting, etc.
Superior knowledge of mass production methods including sheet metal, injection molding, machining, plating, and coatings.
Wide range of interest and knowledge base in multiple engineering disciplines; ability to quickly grasp and develop the subject matter expertise required to develop engineering solutions.
Superior time management and organizational skills.
A high degree of proficiency in Solidworks modeling, freehand sketching, tolerance analysis, and in detailing engineering drawings. Experience creating high-quality 3D renderings of products for investor and marketing materials. A portfolio demonstrating capabilities is useful.
A self-starter and adaptive learner.
Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.

Summary:
Under the supervision of the Infrastructure Manager, the successful candidate will manage and track small projects, support users, deploy, configure and maintain new equipment, as well as support Mircom’s Internal ERP System infrastructure. Although the Project Analyst will work out of Mircom’s Head Office, he/she will also provide IT support for users in all other Mircom branches across North America.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage small, short-term projects
Scope and plan infrastructure projects in collaboration with the infrastructure team
Provide communications and updates on all projects
Provide Level 1-2 user support for employees in a timely manner.
Ensure that the highest level of customer service is provided.
Assure that a response to help desk requests are addressed in a timely fashion.

Attends, and participates in staff meetings and related activities, and attends workshops/training to keep current with application issues, trends, and opportunities.
Setup, configure, maintain and support new user equipment.
Ensure successful installation of user equipment and software.
Support company office phones and cellphones across North America.
Skills and Qualifications:
Degree or diploma in IT/Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience

Summary:

Summary:
Reporting to the HR Manager, the Payroll & Benefits Administrator is responsible for a wide range of processing activities to support the multi provincial Canadian and US payroll processes for Mircom. All payroll activities are completed in adherence to established internal controls, relevant legislation, policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Process and input bi-weekly payrolls for salaried and hourly employees, including taxable benefits, bonus payments, commissions and other special payments as required in accordance with established company practices and procedures
Process other full cycle payroll activities and benefits administration (such as coding and processing information on hires, transfers, leaves, terminations, and wage adjustments)
Process benefit enrollments and relevant deductions

Accountabilities:
Process salaried/hourly, and US Sales payrolls, perform payroll balance routines, and calculate/process manual payments as required. Respond to departmental and employees’ queries.
