Summary:

Proficiency in MS Office

Summary:
Under the supervision of the Warehouse Supervisor, the Warehouse Associate will be responsible for the storage, movement, receiving, preserving and staging of materials, while providing the highest quality of service to all customers. The Warehouse Associate will also be responsible for the day-to-day monitoring of physical security in the warehouse, reporting of all security-related issues to management and any other warehouse functions that may be assigned.
Key Responsibilities:
Print/Read picking slips from the system.
Follow procedures on RF picking slips or verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed
Pick, prepare and move customer orders and related material to checking stage for shipping process
Use an RF scanner to perform a cycle count daily and report any discrepancies to the Supervisor.
Package shipments securely on pallets, label and provide transportation documents, load trucks.
Receive and store all finished goods from final assembly or delivery carriers in a timely manner using the RF scanner system
Ensure the accuracy of shipments; confirm the quantity and part number(s) are accurate.
Sort out material by POs and process QC orders
Receive materials in the system and stamp paperwork with date and signature.
Assist Supervisor with highlighting, collecting, and filing paperwork
Operate warehouse mobile equipment including forklifts
Sort pallets and perform inventory checks
Perform safety checks and preventive maintenance; update logs when machinery is used
Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times while adhering to all health and safety policies/procedures
Perform any other related duties as required by the Supervisor
Requirements and Skills:
Completion of a High School Diploma or Vocational Equivalent
Comfortable working in a computer based work environment including Microsoft Office
Ability to lift up to 75Ibs frequently
Work requires walking, sitting, standing, bending/crouching, reaching, climbing ladders
Able to be detail oriented following precise instructions when processing orders
Knowledgeable of all shipping/receiving procedures applicable in Canada, USA and Internationally

Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our team. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing fire alarm installation and panel projects in commercial, educational, healthcare and industrial facilities, positively representing the company in all client and architect/engineer interactions. The Project Manager will oversee and communicate project progression from inception to completion including design, permits, material delivery, labour schedules and field installation.
This position will play a critical role in overseeing the successful completion of projects and managing all elements of a project including: scope, budget schedule, finance, risk, quality and resources while maintaining the required level of quality for all assigned projects.
Key Responsibilities:

Summary:
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), the Controller shall hold responsibility for managing the overall financial operations of Mircom Group of Companies and will provide accurate information to the Executive team, including detailed financial analysis and preparing month end and other relevant financial reports. Key Responsibilities:
Manage the accounting operations including the review of journal entries, accounts payable, and statutory reporting.
Establish and monitor internal controls to ensure that accounting activities are in accordance with established legal regulatory and company policies and procedures.
Consolidation of legal entities for financial reporting under ASPE standards.
Prepare multi divisional financial statements and analysis including P&Ls by Branch/SBU.
Work with operations to define, measure, analyze, improve and control current processes which impact customer quality and influence internal operating efficiency.

Manage foreign exchange transactions.

Key Responsibilities:
Performs credit and collection activities that include analyzing customers’ credit risk, conducting systematic and daily collection follow-ups.
Works with customers in assigned territories to receive payments. Resolves customer A/R differences to the satisfaction of both Mircom and our customers. Uses good business judgment in working with/through other internal departments to achieve results.
Facilitates customer payments by providing necessary documentation to customer.
Communicates effectively and appropriately handles customers (both internal and external) in a professional & courteous manner.
Resolves customer account differences by working with the appropriate internal teams. Works with Project Team, Service Team, Sales Team and Finance to ensure all deductions are accounted for and credits are issued as necessary.
Identifies and reconciles short payments, over payments and unauthorized deductions.
Completes tasks relating to collections, new accounts setup, existing accounts maintenance, credit review, Euler Hermes filing and claims review, etc.
Continous & ongoing evaluation of customers’ credit limits and risk assessment to determine the amount of credit line and payment terms to extend to customers.
Monitors/Releases orders pending assessment of credit limit, purchase amount & payment history.
Reviews customer orders and resolves credit hold issues.
Processes credit card payments.
Allocates cheque payments & resolves misallocated payments.
Resolves disputes on phone, email, and in-person.
Participates on process improvement projects as assigned.
Ensures compliance with all company policies.
Back up of team members on vacations or leaves.
Other duties as assigned by Management team.
Main focus/territory is Calgary, plus other territories within Canada
Requirements and Skills:
Able to work from 10:00am to 6:30pm EST
2+ years experience in credit and collections.
Construction industry work experience is an advantage
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience in a high-volume environment is preferred.
Intermediate Computer and MS Office skills.
Excellent nterpersonal and communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to work at a fast pace with a high degree of accuracy.
Trustworthy and manages time properly. Uses good judgement when prioritizing work.
Team player is an absolute must.
Experience in Microsoft Dynamic AX is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform Rack-up, Programming, Verification and Inspection of fire alarm systems, access control and intercom systems, along with other fire protection equipment
Perform inspections and service on Mircom and non-Mircom product
Complete and return inspection reports in a timely manner
Provide technical support to customers as needed
Provide operational training to end-users
Ensure our customers and end-users have a positive experience working with Mircom
Read and understand engineered drawings, specifications, programs, schematics, installation manuals, and service manuals
Requirements and Skills:
Technicians shall have 3-5 years of experience as a Service Technician within the Fire Alarm industry
Electronics diploma or equivalent from accredited college/university or documented and demonstrated trade qualification
Technicians shall have Canadian Fire Alarm Association (CFAA) Registration or comparable qualification
Fluent in English and French (verbal and written).
Knowledge of Mircom systems is an asset
Competency in Microsoft Word and Excel is an asset
Ability to lift equipment and tools up to 70lbs and climb ladders and scaffolding
Possess a valid and clean motor vehicle license (Class G)

Responsibilities:
Assemble PCB boards with components as per set-up sheets.
Perform light soldering operations.
Inspect PCB’s after assembly.
Connects and solders lead wires to printed circuit board.
Installs finished assemblies or subassemblies in cases.
Assembles and attaches hardware such as screws, wires and switches, to assemblies.
Performs intermediate assembly tasks such as conformal coating, masking, cutting traces,, labelling assemblies.
Performs on-line “go-no go” testing and inspection using magnifying devices and Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) machine.
Working in a team environment to ensure smooth operations.
Knowledge of electronic component Identification and IPC610 standards.
Advise Supervisor or Lead Hand of any abnormal conditions
Requirements and Skills:
Completion of a High School Diploma or Vocational Equivalent.
Minimum 2 years of experience in a Manufacturing environment is preferred.
Must be able to read, understand and follow instructions/ drawings.
Knowledge of electronic components and assembly of systems is an asset.
Familiar with ISO and IPC standards an asset.
Ability/willingness to learn on the job new skills through training.
