Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Team Lead – PCB Assembly / SMT to oversee and coordinate the daily operations of our PCB assembly line. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with SMT processes, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to quality and continuous improvement.This is a full time permanent role based out of our Branch in Pointe Claire, QC.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and lead a team of SMT operators and technicians in the assembly of printed circuit boards.
Plan, schedule, and monitor daily production activities to meet output, quality, and delivery targets.
Ensure proper setup, operation, and maintenance of SMT equipment (e.g., pick and-place machines, reflow ovens, AOI, Selective soldering).
Troubleshoot process and equipment issues to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.
Train and mentor team members on assembly procedures, safety protocols, and quality standards.
Collaborate with engineering, quality, and supply chain teams to resolve production issues and implement process improvements.
Maintain accurate production records, reports, and documentation.
Enforce compliance with ESD, IPC standards, and company policies.
Ensure work is performed in compliance with ISO9001 Quality Standards & Compliance Procedures.
Requirements and Skills:
Diploma or degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in PCB assembly and SMT manufacturing, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role.
Strong knowledge of SMT processes, equipment, Touch-up and quality control standards (IPC-A-610, ISO 9001).
Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Proficient in using production software and Microsoft Office tools.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with SMT process, Inspection and Touch-up.
Experience with automated optical inspection (AOI), X-ray inspection, and solder paste inspection (SPI).
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
ERP system experience (e.g., D365, SAP, Oracle, or similar).

Summary:
We are searching for a Material Handler that maintains production and distribution of product by pulling orders from inventory; delivering production materials and supplies; staging finished product. The job involves frequent physical activity, including lifting up to 50 lbs, constant walking and standing, regular bending and reaching.This is a full time permanent role based out of our branch in Pointe Claire, QC.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify, label, and place materials and supplies in stock; recording location of inventory.
Locate materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders.
Maintain in-process inventory at work centers by delivering and opening materials and supplies.
Document materials and supplies disposition by recording units delivered and location of units.
Receive credit-return material and supplies from production by verifying materials and supplies code and lot number and quantity; placing materials in stock.
Prepare finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product.
Document product shipment by recording units shipped.
Maintain material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections; making operator repairs.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Ensure work is performed in compliance with ISO9001 Quality Standards & Compliance Procedures.
Requirements and Skills:
Completion of a High School Diploma or Vocational Equivalent.
Three years’ experience of electronic assembly an asset.
Knowledge of electronic components and electronic assembly an asset.
Familiar with touch screen data entering and scanning.
Familiar with ISO and IPC standards an asset.
Good interpersonal and communication (verbal & written English) skills.
Ability to focus attention on details and a high level of accuracy skills.
Must be reliable.
Ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure with simultaneous deadlines.
Ability to maintain confidential information in a professional manner.
Ability/willingness to learn on the job new skills through training.

Summary:
We are seeking an energetic PMA (Preventative Maintenance Agreement) Sales Representative with a proven sales record and a solid understanding of fire alarm, security, and telephone access systems. The role involves securing new business through cold calling, field sales, and marketing, while nurturing relationships with key industry contacts. It includes upselling service agreements, ensuring timely order fulfillment, and creating accurate sales proposals. The position also requires addressing customer concerns, maintaining strong relationships, and demonstrating a deep understanding of Mircom's products, services, and market trends. The successful candidate will be highly motivated and resourceful with an aptitude for learning and keeping pace with ever advancing fire alarm and security access technology.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and obtain new sales for PMA service and inspections.
Develop and upsell new and existing accounts by checking customers’ buying history, proactively contacting exiting customers to ensure orders are handled accurately and in a timely manner.
Target new business opportunities using industry contacts and expertise.
Establish relationships with building owners, property management companies, prospects, and industry insiders through a combination of cold calling, outdoor field sales and direct marketing efforts to present Mircom products and services and solicit new business.
Upsell and maintain service agreements with existing customers through a combination of outdoor field sales, phone sales and marketing efforts.
Develop innovative solutions using Mircom products and services to competitively meet customer needs.
