Summary:
The Warehouse Shipper/Receiver will be responsible for ensuring accurate and seamless outgoing shipments and reception/processing of incoming shipments. The Warehouse Shipper/Receiver must load and unload shipments regularly, with the capability of repetitive heavy lifting. Key Responsibilities:
Prepare receiving dock to accept incoming product and shipping dock to transfer out product.
Match product with shipping or purchase orders
Verify products’ expiration codes
Inspect product to ensure saleable condition with acceptable code dating
Operate an Electric Pallet Jack in a safe manner to move product
Maintain a safe work environment
May be required to assist with scheduling freight appointments
May lift cases of product and/or stock merchandise according to documented procedures
Process all required paperwork and maintain adequate records for reporting and tracking.
Create a daily shipment schedule.
Oversee the secure and accurate loading of shipments and unloading of deliveries.
Track shipments and verify receipts of shipments as required.
Manage inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
Sort and distribute incoming shipments.
Perform quality audits of the condition of goods for both incoming and outgoing items prior to signing off.
Report discrepancies to immediate supervisor.
Follow current standards and procedures.
Ensure that shipments contain proper documentation and if multiple items per shipment, ensure item lists are complete.
Problem solve for any cases of missing documents, shipments and deliveries.

Summary:
Under the supervision of the Manager, this position is responsible for the safe, accurate assembly, insertion of electronic components and other related assembly in a timely fashion, with the help of complex machinery. Summary:

Summary:
The Fire Alarm Systems Estimator will be responsible for estimating Fire Alarm System material and labour for projects which the Project Management Office (PMO) manage, regionally and/or nationally within Canada; this includes reviewing Consulting Engineers design drawings, Material take-off (either manually and/or using Procore), Bill of Material (BOM) creation, Labour (hours/cost) estimations for system Test and Inspection and Verification, Quote creation in AX. The Estimator will be required to review plans and confer with Sales Managers and Project Managers, if required, to provide a BOM and Quote for a complete and functional Fire Alarm system which meets the project specifications. The role is located at our Calgary office.
Responsibilities:
Work closely with Sales Managers and Project Managers to have a full understanding of the projects needs and requirements
Review and understand Consulting Engineer drawings and designs for the Fire Alarm System
Perform take-offs of design drawings, manually and/or by using Procore software, to provide accurate quantities of materials, and labour hours required for each project
Employ problem-solving strategies and find solutions to product design issues
Successfully meet deadlines for project quote submittals
Ensure proper documentation of all work, organize, and maintain quotes and all supporting documents in a digital file database on the PMO SharePoint site for each project
Provide assistance to the Project Manager in the interpretation and implementation of specifications and requirements
Requirements and Skills:
Post-secondary College Graduate in design or a related electronic Industry field is required
Minimum 2 years of Life Safety Systems sales or technical experience
Strong understanding of the Life Safety industry codes and standards
Proven analytical skills and the ability to identify customer needs and the ability to effectively communicate them required

Key Responsibilities:
Testing and repairing of electronic devices and assemblies.
Perform light soldering operations (surface mount repair, asset).

Summary:
Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Financial Analyst will support the Corporate Office through the month end process, will provide accurate financial reports and analysis in a consistent and timely manner. Summary:

Under the supervision of the Manager, this position is responsible for the safe, accurate assembly, insertion of electronic components and other related assembly in a timely fashion, with the help of complex machinery. This is a Day Shift position.
Key Responsibilities:
Set-up, run and troubleshoot Wave Solder machines with minimum down time and under minimum supervision
Perform machine maintenance
Visually inspect boards after processing
Work in a safe and organized manner
Skills and Qualifications:
Completion of a High School Diploma or Vocational Equivalent
Machine operator experience and certification an asset
Ability to read work orders, follow production procedures, sample assemblies, and understand verbal instructions
Knowledge of electronic components and electronic assembly is an asset
Knowledge of set-ups, programming and adjustments an asset
Soldering experience an asset
Ability to work independently as well as in a team
Good interpersonal and communication (verbal & written English) skills
Must be detail-oriented, highly accurate and able to meet tight deadlines
Must be able to wear a mask while using the Wave Solder machine while a standing for long periods of time
Ability to lift heavy objects (occasionally able to lift up to 50 pounds), crouch, bend, walk and stand for long periods
Ability to perform mathematical functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)

Summary:
The successful candidate will oversee Mircom’s service operations for the Calgary & Edmonton locations. The Service Manager will organize and manage all service activities and performance of the 2 service teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Establish and manage technician installation schedules to ensure optimum work load efficiencies and timely equipment deliveries
Mentor, train and develop skills with Technicians
Coordinate installation activities with General Contractors, Engineers and building officials to ensure all documentation and approvals are delivered
Identify project changes leading to equipment and labor cost overruns

Monitor direct labor hours, project costs, and work schedules.

Ensure all safety guidelines are followed and that the company is in compliance with all regulatory rules and regulations
Requirements and Skills:
3-5 years of experience in the Fire and Life Safety industry
Proven manager/supervisor experience in the Fire Alarm industry
Canadian Fire Alarm Association (CFAA) certification or ASTTBC (Applied Science Technologists and Technicians of BC) certification in fire alarm
University, College, or Technical Post-Secondary education
Proficiency to review drawings, conduct field surveys, prepare all required information to perform complete installation activities
Strong computer skills and competency in Microsoft Office applications
Ability to work flexible hours including weekends to meet customer/technician requirements
Strong organizational skills, a positive attitude and the ability to learn quickly
Possess a valid driver’s license and a clean driver's abstract
Strong verbal and written communications in the English language
Occasional travel between the 2 branches per business requirements

TPM (Total Productive Maintenance)
Use computer software to model cutting paths and program machines accordingly.
Perform quality assurance tests to ensure products meet design specifications.
Adjust machine cutting paths or settings to optimize production while maintaining quality.
Consider tools required to cut particular materials and program machines accordingly.
Troubleshoot and resolve problems with machines as they arise.
Perform basic machine maintenance such as cleaning and sharpening.
Train new employees on how to properly operate CNC Punch Machines and programs
Requirements and Skills:
Previous experience working in a manufacturing setting is required.
Must have strong attention to detail.
Familiarity and skill with interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
Skilled at troubleshooting and resolving mechanical or logistical problems that arise.
Ability to work independently and closely follow directions is essential.
Should have a positive and professional attitude.
Available to work weekends and overtime.
Capable of standing for extended periods of time.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds for short periods of time.
Familiarity with RADAN of line programming and AMADA CNC punch machines.
Certified in PLC a bonus.
Must be available to work the afternoon shift. However, for the first three months on the job, the candidate must be able to work the day shift schedule.
