Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate on the configuration and optimization of FX-4000 HAL, ANC-6000, and other modular hardware components.
Develop and maintain system-level diagnostics, annunciator mapping, and addressable loop integrations.
Debug complex firmware and hardware issues using tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and protocol analyzers.
Analyze and optimize system performance, timing determinism, and overall reliability across the FX-4000 architecture.
Work with graphical monitoring tools to validate and verify system integration.
Participate in architecture reviews and contribute to the design of scalable, modular fire alarm solutions.
Mentor junior engineers, conduct design/code reviews, and support robust documentation and knowledge sharing.
Requirements and Skills:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of embedded firmware development experience, ideally in safety-critical or industrial environments.
Proficiency in C/C++ and experience with real-time operating systems, such as Quadros RTOS, FreeRTOS, VxWorks, QNX, or similar.
Familiarity with toolchains like Visual DSP, GNU C, STCube, and Code Composer.
Strong understanding of the OSI model, especially application and data link layers.
Extensive experience with communication protocols such as ARCNET, BACnet, RS-485, RS-232, SPI, and Ethernet/IP.
Ability to interpret schematics and debug complex hardware/firmware interactions using lab instruments including oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.
Comfortable working with modular hardware platforms and addressing embedded integration challenges.
Preferred:
Experience with fire alarm systems (FACP) and/or building automation solutions is highly desired.
Knowledge of FX-4000 architecture or similar fire alarm control panels (FACP).

Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse Supervisor to lead and support a small Pick & Pack team, ensuring all orders are accurately pulled, packed, and shipped while maintaining high quality standards. This role involves managing inventory accuracy, overseeing cycle counts, coordinating shipments, and ensuring timely order fulfillment. The candidate will also be responsible for a mix of administrative and hands-on warehouse duties.

Key Responsibilites:
Data entry-receive, track and allocate material into inventory or other warehouse locations
Inspect inbound shipments for damage and/or missing material
Pick, pack, label and verify material for outbound shipments
Answer phone calls, emails and respond in timely manner in regard to shipments, carrier pricing, transfers and sales team
Use online portals for data entry/courier shipping labels/Bill of Ladings (Ups-worldship, Fedex, other LTL carriers.)
Sort incoming RMA’s and work with RMA dept to create invoices/send to Head Office

We are searching for an energetic Designer who will be responsible for preparing electronic (AutoCAD) working plans and technical drawings for various Fire Alarm System projects from preliminary concepts, sketches, calculations, specification sheets and other data. These drawings play a crucial role in ensuring the effective implementation of fire alarm systems in various projects. This is a full time permanent role based out of our Calgary office in Alberta.
Key Responsibilities:
Create custom sketches and incorporate custom drawings into tool palettes.
Provide assistance to the team leader in the interpretation and implementation of specifications and requirements and the procurement and use of AutoCAD files.
Prepare electronic layouts, charts, detailed scale drawings, and material and equipment requirements from sketches, specifications, and standard layouts provided.
Revise computer-aided designs and plans to comply with modified specifications made during actual construction Participate in ongoing product and technical training.
Review plans and writing technical reports to meet project specifications.
Complete documentation packages and produce drawing sets.
Employ problem-solving strategies and find solutions to product design issues.
Ensure proper documentation of all work, products and relevant activities.
Carry out assignments on project design teams.
Requirements and Skills:
Post-secondary College Graduate in design or a related electronic industry field.
1 to 3 years of Design experience is preferred.
Experience in Fire Alarm, Electronic or Mechanical System design is an asset.
Proficient in using AutoCAD, including 3D modeling functions.
Canadian Fire Alarm Association (CFAA) Registration or CFAA Student working towards CFAA certification.
Technical experience of in-field Life Safety Systems is an asset.
Possess a valid and clean motor vehicle license (G License) an asset.
Understanding of the Life Safety Industry codes and standards an asset.
Able to read and understand engineered drawings, specifications, programs, schematics, installation manuals, and service manuals.
Strong presentation, oratory, and written skills.
Demonstrated ability to finish multiple projects on time and scale.
Computer literate, including effective working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, e-mail and Adobe Products.
Ability to follow through and complete overlapping projects.
High level of critical and logical thinking, analysis, and/or reasoning to identify underlying principles, reasons, or facts.
Excellent organization and project management skills, including the ability to multitask in a fast-paced product development environment.

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and bilingual Field Applications Specialist with a robust background in Communications and Security Products. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in networking, software and hardware troubleshooting, and customer service, paired with strong sales capabilities. In addition, the successful candidate will offer support in sales and estimation processes and Fire knowledge is an asset.The position will be responsible for overseeing operations in Quebec and the eastern provinces and ideally reside in Greater Montreal area.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide special application designs to sales and customers/installers.
Resolve major field related problems with customers/installers.
Provide over the phone as well as e-mail instructions to field technicians/installers with respect to the operation, installation troubleshooting and programming of the various Mircom systems.
Provide Lunch & Learns in various cities in Quebec and the Eastern provinces to sales, field technicians and distributors.
Simulate any field re-occurring problems in the rack and test lab and document the results for feedback to the engineering department.
Program International security Keys for Flex-Net and MMX (Secutron) Fire Alarm Control Panels.
Program all OPENGN, BACNET and WEBSERVER keys for North America and International Customers.
Program TX3 and Secutron Fire Panels
Support old FACP’s, Telephone Access Systems, Emergency Call Systems, “K” Series Intercom Systems.
Draw special application wiring/block diagrams for customer/installers.
Test and evaluate prototypes for electrical integrity.
Resolving level 2 customers issues forwarded by the Technical Support Department.
Requirements and Skills:
Trade School or College dipolma or a relevant field; a technical background is required
University Degree is an asset
Minimum of 3+ years in applications support, or a similar role within the communications and security sector.
Minimum of 3+ years in a technical sales industry, preferably fire alarm or security sales, fire alarm is an asset.
Strong knowledge of networking principles and troubleshooting methodologies.
Solid familiarity with CCTV, intercom, access control, audio systems, SIP/VoIP technologies, and cabling/wiring practices.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical documentation and training delivery.
Strong customer service orientation with a commitment to efficiently resolving issues.
Frequent travel to client sites is required for training or support.
Flexibility in hours may be necessary to accommodate client schedules.
Language proficiency in both English and French
