Summary:
We are searching for a Material Handler that maintains production and distribution of product by pulling orders from inventory; delivering production materials and supplies; staging finished product. The job involves frequent physical activity, including lifting up to 50 lbs, constant walking and standing, regular bending and reaching.This is a full time permanent role, afternoon shift, based out of our branch in Pointe Claire, QC.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify, label, and place materials and supplies in stock; recording location of inventory.
Locate materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders.
Maintain in-process inventory at work centers by delivering and opening materials and supplies.
Document materials and supplies disposition by recording units delivered and location of units.
Receive credit-return material and supplies from production by verifying materials and supplies code and lot number and quantity; placing materials in stock.
Prepare finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product.
Document product shipment by recording units shipped.
Maintain material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections; making operator repairs.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Requirements and Skills:
Completion of a High School Diploma or Vocational Equivalent.
Three years’ experience of electronic assembly an asset.
Knowledge of electronic components and electronic assembly an asset.
Familiar with touch screen data entering and scanning.
Familiar with ISO and IPC standards an asset.
Good interpersonal and communication (verbal & written English) skills.
Ability to focus attention on details and a high level of accuracy skills.
Must be reliable.
Ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure with simultaneous deadlines.
Ability to maintain confidential information in a professional manner.

Summary:
Under the supervision of the Manager, this position is responsible for the safe, accurate assembly, insertion of electronic components and other related assembly in a timely fashion, with the help of complex machinery. This is a full time permanent role, afternoon shift, based in our branch in Pointe Claire, QC.
Key Responsibilities:
Set-up, run and troubleshoot Auto-insertion and SMT machines with minimum down time and minimum supervision
Perform quality inspection with the aid of Automatic Optical Inspection (AOI), Golden Sample or Bills of Material (BOM) and log it on the First Off template of the Manufacturing Order (MO)
Perform safety checks and preventative maintenance as required
Maintain PCB stock accurately, ensuring cleanliness and good organization
Visually inspect all boards after processing on the machines
Manage and track stock accurately by utilizing Integrated Materials Management Software
Work in a safe and organized manner
Skills and Qualifications:
Completion of a High School Diploma or Vocational Equivalent
Machine operator certification an asset
Three years’ experience using Auto-insertion and SMT machinery
Ability to read work orders, follow production drawings, sample assemblies, and understand verbal instructions
Experience with current IPC class 2 standard for proper insertion, placement and reflow of components
Knowledge of appropriate materials, methods, and the tools required in various assembly processes
Knowledge of electronic components and electronic assembly is an asset
Knowledge of set-ups, programming and adjustments an asset
Soldering experience an asset
Ability to work independently as well as in a team
Good interpersonal and communication (verbal & written English) skills
Must be detail-oriented, highly accurate and able to meet tight deadlines

Summary:
We are seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst for Fire, Communication, Automation and related Smart Building products. The successful candidate will be responsible for verification and stability testing of our products and additionally will have to perform pre-certification testing for regulatory bodies such as UL, ULC, FM and CSFM. Key Responsibilities:

Summary:

Summary:
Under the supervision of the Manager, this position is responsible for the safe, accurate assembly, insertion of electronic components and other related assembly in a timely fashion, with the help of complex machinery. This is a full time night shift, permanent role, based out of our Head Office in Vaughan, ON.
Key Responsibilities:
Set-up, run and troubleshoot Auto-insertion and SMT machines with minimum down time and minimum supervision
Perform quality inspection with the aid of Automatic Optical Inspection (AOI), Golden Sample or Bills of Material (BOM) and log it on the First Off template of the Manufacturing Order (MO)
Perform safety checks and preventative maintenance as required
Maintain PCB stock accurately, ensuring cleanliness and good organization
Visually inspect all boards after processing on the machines
Manage and track stock accurately by utilizing Integrated Materials Management Software
Work in a safe and organized manner
Skills and Qualifications:
Completion of a High School Diploma or Vocational Equivalent
Machine operator certification an asset
Three years’ experience using Auto-insertion and SMT machinery
Ability to read work orders, follow production drawings, sample assemblies, and understand verbal instructions
Experience with current IPC class 2 standard for proper insertion, placement and reflow of components
Knowledge of appropriate materials, methods, and the tools required in various assembly processes
Knowledge of electronic components and electronic assembly is an asset
Knowledge of set-ups, programming and adjustments an asset
Soldering experience an asset
Ability to work independently as well as in a team
Good interpersonal and communication (verbal & written English) skills
Must be detail-oriented, highly accurate and able to meet tight deadlines
Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds), crouch, bend, walk and stand for long periods
Ability to perform mathematical functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)

Summary:
We are seeking a technically skilled and customer-focused individual to provide support for our fire safety and security product lines. In this role, you will troubleshoot installation and production issues, assist with resolving technical and engineering challenges, and support the sales and installation teams to ensure product effectiveness. You will respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and web, log support cases using Microsoft Dynamics AX, and escalate unresolved issues as needed. Additionally, you will simulate field issues in a lab environment, document findings, and deliver technical certification training to help customers effectively use our fire alarm and communication products.
Responsibilities:
Provide technical support for fire safety equipment and security products.
Provide troubleshooting support for installations and production.
Help resolve technical and engineering related issues that impact sales, installation, or utilization of fire safety and security products.
Identify and help resolve product quality issues through escalation process.
Simulate field problems in the technical support lab and document the results.
Respond to phone, email, and web-based inquiries on Mircom's fire protection and security products.
Log incoming inquiries and their resolution via Microsoft Dynamics AX.
Escalate issues to respective departments that cannot be addressed directly by the team.
Provide technical certification training to help customers learn how to use various fire alarm and communication products and accessories.
Requirements and Skills:
Diploma or degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Fire Protection Engineering, or a related technical field.
1–3 years of technical support or field service experience, preferably in the fire safety, security, or building systems industry.
Experience with fire alarm systems, communication products, or security systems is highly desirable.
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for electronic and electromechanical systems.
Familiarity with installation practices for fire alarm and security systems.
Working knowledge of fire alarm codes and standards (e.g., NFPA, ULC, CSA) is an asset.
Proficiency in using lab equipment for simulations and technical validation.
Ability to use CRM systems such as Microsoft Dynamics AX to log and track support cases.

Summary:

Summary:
We are a leading manufacturer specializing in the production and assembly of critical fire safety equipment. Our product manufactured at this facility includes smoke detectors, fire alarm speakers, NEC devices, sounder bases, and duct detectors, all of which play a vital role in safeguarding lives and properties. The Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing the manufacturing and assembly processes within the facility. They ensure production runs efficiently and meets quality standards while adhering to schedules. Furthermore, the Production Manager will contribute to the success of the Mircom Group of Companies by directing the production team to meet customer needs and achieve standards related to cost, line efficiencies, waste, safety and productivity. The role is situated out of our Pointe Claire facility in Montreal, Quebec. Candidates should reside within a reasonable commuting distance of the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & ownership role to develop, implement and improve manufacturing assembly methods within a Lean manufacturing environment.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives throughout the production process.
Monitor production schedules and adjust as necessary to meet customer demand and delivery deadlines.
Planning and organizing production schedules for the production employees by creating and maintaining work instructions and Manufacturing Orders.
To identify and implement cost reduction opportunities through process, component and finished goods design.
Drive to establishing efficiency, work labor standards and perform process time studies when appropriate and/or required.
Lead and drive the process of NPI in manufacturing by assisting engineering design department with electronic design and methods (SMT and Through Hole assembly, Testing and Final Assembly, DFT and DFM) to ultimately provide a high quality product while reducing waste and overall improve the efficiencies and lead times.
Take leadership in selection and purchase of production equipment and installations
Lead the process with operational problems affecting production and dealing with them in a systematic and methodical manner
Provide manufacturing data required for operations.
Liaising with suppliers and R/D department.
Hiring, training and supervising staff.
Lead and mentor production staff, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous learning.
Implement and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve production performance.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of health and safety in manufacturing by training, incorporate safety awareness, encourage communications regarding safety concerns and enforce safety protocols.
Requirements and Skills:
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical, Industrial or Business is an asset
