Summary:

Key Responsibilities:
Strong ability to lead general production/assembly employees to achieve performance standards with regards to Good Manufacturing Practices, safety, line utilization, quality and morale
Able to oversee and assure facility equipment reliability to minimize downtime
Collaborate well with others, aligned team agenda with production objectives
Develop others by training frontline employees – setting expectations, providing feedback and recognizing and rewarding good performance
Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety regulations
Responsible for the production output of his/her production cells
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree / Diploma
3+ years of work experience in a speed manufacturing environment required, preferably consumer packaged goods
2+ years of work experience in a supervisory position required
Experience in consumer packaged products, light assembly, electronics or similar industry preferred
Strong employee relations, interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills
Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
Demonstrated computer proficiency skills: Word, Excel and Microsoft Office
Demonstrated ability to function successfully in a fast paced, changing work environment

Summary:
We are seeking an experienced CNC Punch Programmer/Operator to join our production team. The incumbent should be qualified, dedicated and highly motivated; wanting to work in a team setting with a growing organization. This role is a fulltime afternoon-shift position for our HQ in Vaughan, ON.

Read technical drawings and set up the machines in accordance with these blueprints.
PLC knowledge and automation.
Hardware and software familiarity.
Process flow.
Lean methodology.
TPM (Total Productive Maintenance)
Use computer software to model cutting paths and program machines accordingly.
Perform quality assurance tests to ensure products meet design specifications.
Adjust machine cutting paths or settings to optimize production while maintaining quality.
Consider tools required to cut particular materials and program machines accordingly.
Troubleshoot and resolve problems with machines as they arise.
Perform basic machine maintenance such as cleaning and sharpening.
Train new employees on how to properly operate CNC Punch Machines and programs
Requirements and Skills:
Previous experience working in a manufacturing setting is required.
Must have strong attention to detail.
Familiarity and skill with interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
Skilled at troubleshooting and resolving mechanical or logistical problems that arise.
Ability to work independently and closely follow directions is essential.
Should have a positive and professional attitude.
Available to work weekends and overtime.
Capable of standing for extended periods of time.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds for short periods of time.
Familiarity with RADAN of line programming and AMADA CNC punch machines.
Certified in PLC a bonus.
Must be available to work the afternoon shift. However, for the first three months on the job, the candidate must be able to work the day shift schedule.

Summary:
Mircom is seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Quality & Continuous Improvement to lead and oversee all aspects of quality across the organization, including product design, manufacturing and testing, sales, service, and process improvements. This senior leadership role will be responsible for ensuring that our products and services meet the highest quality standards and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in quality management, a deep understanding of ISO standards, and a strategic mindset to drive the company’s quality objectives forward.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement an organization-wide quality management strategy, transitioning from ISO-9001 to ISO-9004 and integrating Six Sigma methodologies to reduce defects and improve product quality.
Oversee quality management systems, focusing on key metrics (e.g., Cost of Poor Quality, Scrap, Yield, Return Material Authorization, Supplier Quality) to drive continuous improvement, reduce costs, and enhance efficiency.
Lead and mentor the quality team, providing guidance on tools, training, and professional development to ensure high performance and foster a culture of continuous improvement across the organization.
Work with product design, operations, applications, sales, and customer service teams to ensure quality is embedded across all processes, improving customer satisfaction and safety standards.
Analyze performance data, customer feedback, and key quality metrics to drive decision-making and implement preventative actions.
Ensure adherence to industry standards, conduct audits, and implement corrective actions to maintain high-quality standards and regulatory compliance.
Strengthen relationships with customers and suppliers to ensure product quality meets regulatory and customer expectations, and address quality concerns promptly.
Encourage innovation, integrate emerging technologies, and foster collaboration across departments to improve product development and maintain high-quality standards.
Requirements and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
10+ years of experience in quality management within manufacturing, with 5+ years in leadership.
Proven track record in developing and implementing quality systems (ISO-9001/9004).
Six Sigma (Black/Green Belt) and Lean Manufacturing experience highly desirable.
Strong leadership, data-driven decision-making, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Expertise in quality management tools, statistical analysis, and industry standards.
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across various departments.
Professional Accreditation in Quality Management or Quality Engineering (CQE, CQA, CMQ) is preferred.

PCBA Supervisor

Summary:
Under the general direction of the Production Manager, the PCBA Supervisor will lead and oversee all elements of production in the PCBA department. The PCBA Production Supervisor will be accountable and responsible for managing departmental safety including policies and procedures. The successful candidate will oversee environmental controls, plant production including quality control, development of production employees, protection of equipment and departmental cost control.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct oversight, training and guidance to PCB Machine Operators, Assemblers, Wave and Post wave operators to ensure processes and work instructions are being adhered to.
Coordinate the activities of employees to ensure production requirements are met while also ensuring a safe workplace.
Troubleshoot equipment problems to ensure machine availability, reliability and quality.
Review Metrics daily and participate in Tiered Daily Accountability Meetings.
Recommend measures to improve methods, equipment performance, quality and efficiency.
Confer with other Departments and Production Supervisors, as required, to coordinate activities.
Conduct performance reviews and ensure staff adherence to policies and procedures.
Develop and produce various ad-hoc reports and metrics as requested by management.
Schedule Material Orders (MOs) and assign work.
Ensure production of accurate parts/products as per drawings while maintaining quality.
Order materials as per requirements of MOs, Follow up with purchasing of materials.
Review and schedule incoming orders for processing by priority.
Liaise with engineering regarding design changes, missing drawings and new programs which require adjustment in tools.
Write requisitions for stock material, tooling and equipment.
Recognize tooling requirements that will reduce labour content and/or improve quality.
Set up and maintain tool dispensing and recording procedures.
Source and provide justification to formulate budgets for new equipment, tooling and department layout changes.
Maintenance and repair of production equipment.
Control and maintain low overtime record.
Responsible for department material handling of products.
Responsible for cleanliness and organization of the department.
Support and maintain 5S in all areas.
Monitor the red tag area(s) and disposition material in a timely manner.
Provide monthly safety talks.
Understand the HSE hazards, risks and controls of the operations under their control.
Monitor and coach/teach awareness and compliance to HSE controls.
Integrate HSE programs and performance into continuous improvement and root cause analysis activities.
Actively participate in the HSE behavior programs for the organization.
Respond to problems in the time defined by the Problem Escalation Process.
Coach and mentor others so that problems can be solved rapidly at all levels of the organization.

Requirements and Skills:
College Diploma or equivalent
Program related to manufacturing electronics is considered an asset.
5+ years of Supervisory experience in manufacturing/production.
Excellent verbal, written and listening skills are required.
Ability to perform basic mathematical functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division).
Ability to rapidly solve problems; to be successful these problems need to be corrected then need to be standardized and shared.
Excellent mentoring, motivation, coaching and people management skills.
Leadership training is considered an asset.
Must be detail oriented with attention to accuracy.
Strong sense of urgency.
Must be able to prioritize and multitask .
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook and other MS Office programs.
Experience with MRP program (MS Dynamics or equivalent) an asset.
Experience with soldering and IPC standards.
