Summary:
We are searching for a driven Building Automation Sales Professional to identify, develop, and close opportunities for building automation systems (BAS), energy management, and related smart building solutions. This role focuses on selling to commercial, industrial, and institutional customers by understanding their facility needs and delivering technical, value-driven solutions that enhance building performance, comfort, and efficiency. This is a full time role based out of head office in Vaughan, ON.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development
Prospect, qualify, and generate new sales opportunities within the assigned territory or vertical (e.g., commercial offices, healthcare, education, industrial).
Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation and discovery through proposal, negotiation, and closing.
Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of BAS, HVAC controls, and energy management projects and service agreements.
Prepare and deliver professional sales presentations, proposals, and ROI analyses to customers, consultants, and contractors.
Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions in line with company guidelines and profitability targets.
Customer & Account Management
Build and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders: building owners, facility managers, consulting engineers, mechanical contractors, and system integrators.
Conduct site visits, needs assessments, and walkthroughs to understand customer objectives, existing systems, and integration requirements.
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring high customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, operations, project management, service) to ensure accurate scope definition and seamless project delivery.
Technical & Solution Development
Work with engineering and estimating teams to develop accurate scopes of work, system designs, and cost estimates for building automation and controls projects.
Translate customer needs into comprehensive solutions, including:
HVAC and lighting controls
Energy management and optimization strategies
Integration with existing BAS, BMS, or IoT platforms
Ongoing service, maintenance, and software upgrades
Stay current on building codes, industry standards, and technologies related to BAS, BACnet/Modbus communication, and smart building solutions.
Market & Strategy
Analyze market trends, competitors, and customer feedback to identify new opportunities and refine sales strategies.
Participate in industry events, trade shows, and professional organizations to build brand presence and generate leads.
Provide regular sales forecasts, activity reports, and pipeline updates to management.
Requirements and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Technology, or a related field preferred; equivalent industry experience considered
3–5+ years of successful B2B sales experience in one or more of the following areas:
Building automation and controls
HVAC and mechanical systems
Energy management and performance contracting.
Low-voltage systems, BMS, or related building technologies.
Solid understanding of commercial building systems and facility operations.
Technical aptitude in mechanical, electrical, controls, or automation disciplines.
Working knowledge of major BAS platforms.
Experience collaborating with consulting engineers and mechanical contractors on design-build or plan-and-spec projects.
Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and managing complex sales cycles.
Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Summary:
We are searching for an experienced Service Manager to lead our Fire Alarm Technicians and all their service activities. He/she will organize and manage all service activities and performance of the service team. Summary:
We are seeking a Fire Alarm Systems Estimator & Designer who will be responsible for preparing complete and accurate quotations to be presented to clients, either directly or through the assigned salesperson. This role includes analyzing projects to identify and propose cost-saving opportunities through optimized design and product solutions. The candidate we are searching for will also perform occasional design work, including developing and assembling project riser diagrams, comprehensive shop drawing packages, and associated technical data sheets to support bids and project execution. Responsibilities:
Produce material and labour take-offs through drawings to develop accurate quotations.
Provide project design packages, riser diagrams, shop drawings, data sheets, battery calculations.
Review and understand job specifications and drawings.
Follow through with estimating process to develop competitive bids.
Communicate with clients to gather information, clarify specifications, wording, etc.
Converse with Sales People to coordinate the closing of the bid review.
Occasional site/tender walk-throughs to cross refence drawings to avoid site interferences and identify proactive solutions.
Coordinate with sub-contractors and suppliers to obtain pricing to include within the final quotation provided to client.
Attend scheduled Sales Manager meetings to discuss product, codes and issues.
Coordinate with the project management team to create process and guidelines to help with growing of the new department
Attend and contribute to product training seminars and monthly sales meetings.
Requirements and Skills:
Diploma or degree in Engineering Technology, Construction Management, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
2–5 years of experience in estimating, design, or drafting within construction, fire protection, electrical, or related industry.
Experience specifically in fire alarm, life safety, security, or low‑voltage systems is an asset.
Knowledge of NFPA, local building/fire codes, and applicable standards.
Experience working in a growing department or helping establish processes and best practices.
Experience preparing quotations and bid submissions for commercial/industrial projects.

Summary:

Responsibilities:
Manufacturing Process Development:

Support New Product Introduction (NPI) by defining process flows, work instructions, and tooling requirements.
Design and improve manufacturing layouts to enhance throughput, quality, and efficiency.
Conduct process capability studies and implement improvements to achieve production targets.
Create Capital projects to drive productivity and safety through automation.
SMT Process Engineering:
Optimize SMT processes including solder paste printing, pick-and-place efficiency, reflow soldering, AOI, SPI, and inspection processes.
Troubleshoot SMT line issues and drive root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Support machine programming, line balancing, and cycle time improvements.
Work closely with equipment vendors and maintenance teams to ensure optimal machine performance.
Quality & Continuous Improvement:
Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other operational excellence methodologies.
Support PFMEA development, control plans, and process validation activities.
Analyze yield, defect trends, and production data to identify opportunities for improvement.
Evaluation & First Article Approval for changes to manufacturing site, process changes or improvements, supplier or material changes, or design changes.
Implement error-proofing (poka-yoke) and process controls to reduce defects.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with Product Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain to ensure manufacturability of new designs (DFM/DFT).
Support production teams in resolving technical issues on the manufacturing floor.
Participate in audits, process reviews, and operational improvement initiatives.
Provide technical guidance and training to operators and technicians.
Documentation & Compliance:
Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation including work instructions, process maps, and standard operating procedures.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements related to PCB manufacturing.
Support internal and external audits such as ISO, FM, and UL, as required.
ECO technical review, approval, assessment and execution through change management.
Requirements and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
5–10 years of experience in hands on PCB manufacturing, with strong expertise in Surface Mount Technology (SMT) environments.
Hands-on experience with SMT equipment such as pick-and-place machines, reflow ovens, AOI, and SPI systems.
Experience supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) in electronics manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of PCB assembly processes and electronics manufacturing.
Experience with DFM, DFT, and process validation.

Requirements and Skills:

Working knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing principles.
Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting and analytics.
Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
Experience working in an entrepreneurial, collaborative environment and able to direct and work in harmony with a diverse group of highly motivated and capable individuals.

Summary:
We are seeking a Fire Alarm Systems Estimator & Designer who will be responsible for preparing complete and accurate quotations to be presented to clients, either directly or through the assigned salesperson. This role includes analyzing projects to identify and propose cost-saving opportunities through optimized design and product solutions. The candidate we are searching for will also perform occasional design work, including developing and assembling project riser diagrams, comprehensive shop drawing packages, and associated technical data sheets to support bids and project execution. This is a full-time role based out of our Calgary office.
Responsibilities:
Produce material and labour take-offs through drawings to develop accurate quotations.
Provide project design packages, riser diagrams, shop drawings, data sheets, battery calculations.
Review and understand job specifications and drawings.
Follow through with estimating process to develop competitive bids.
Communicate with clients to gather information, clarify specifications, wording, etc.
Converse with Sales People to coordinate the closing of the bid review.
Occasional site/tender walk-throughs to cross refence drawings to avoid site interferences and identify proactive solutions.
Coordinate with sub-contractors and suppliers to obtain pricing to include within the final quotation provided to client.
Attend scheduled Sales Manager meetings to discuss product, codes and issues.
Coordinate with the project management team to create process and guidelines to help with growing of the new department
Attend and contribute to product training seminars and monthly sales meetings.
Requirements and Skills:
Diploma or degree in Engineering Technology, Construction Management, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
2 + years of experience in estimating, design, or drafting within construction, fire protection, electrical, or related industry.
Experience specifically in fire alarm, life safety, security, or low‑voltage systems is an asset.
Knowledge of NFPA, local building/fire codes, and applicable standards.
Experience working in a growing department or helping establish processes and best practices.
Experience preparing quotations and bid submissions for commercial/industrial projects.
Familiarity with tender processes and documentation.
Valid driver’s license and ability to attend occasional site visits/tender walkthroughs.
