Sommaire :
Le gestionnaire de projet sera responsable de la gestion des projets d'installation d'alarme incendie dans les installations commerciales, éducatives, médicales et industrielles, représentant positivement l'entreprise dans toutes les interactions avec le client et l'architecte/ingénieur. Le chef de projet supervise et communique la progression du projet du début à la fin, y compris la conception, les permis, la livraison des matériaux, les calendriers de la main-d'œuvre et l'installation sur le terrain.
Principales responsabilités :
Maintenir le plan du projet pour garder le calendrier du projet sur la bonne voie
Développer un plan de projet complet pour respecter les calendriers et les budgets
Coordonner et communiquer l'échange d'informations au sein de l'équipe et avec les clients
Diriger les réunions sur les travaux en cours
S'assurer que les exigences de l'AHJ et les procédures du département sont respectées
Coordonner l'assistance technique requise pour les installations
Gérer les achats et les expéditions d'équipement sur le site
Coordonner, citer et suivre les ordres de modification
Effectuer occasionnellement des travaux techniques sur le site si cela est jugé nécessaire
Exigences et compétences :
Baccalauréat dans un domaine technique, commercial ou connexe
3 ans ou plus d'expérience en protection incendie, en construction, en alarme/détection ou en gestion de projet connexe
Certification Project Management Professional (PMP)
Solide connaissance des codes du bâtiment, CAN/ULC-S524 et CAN/ULC-S537
Très bien organisé, soucieux du détail, proactif et capable d'effectuer plusieurs tâches à la fois
Compétences en leadership - capable d'établir une direction, d'aligner les gens, de les motiver et de les inspirer d'aligner les gens, de motiver et d'inspirer
Comprendre et suivre tous les codes et normes publiés, ainsi que les spécifications uniques des projets

Résumé du poste:
Mircom conçoit, développe et intègre des systèmes de commande, de contrôle et de communication hautement sophistiqués liés aux systèmes de bâtiments intelligents pour les marchés industriels, commerciaux et résidentiels. L'ingénieur AQ dirigera et supervisera les tests et l'évaluation du matériel et des logiciels pour les systèmes de communication et de sécurité des personnes en temps réel et intégrés de l'entreprise. Le poste est actuellement rattaché au directeur de l'ingénierie, mais il travaille en étroite collaboration avec tous les membres du département d'ingénierie, ainsi qu'avec le personnel de l'assurance qualité, de la fabrication, de l'assistance technique, de la gestion des produits, etc. Ce poste est situé à notre bureau de Pointe-Claire, au Québec.

Principales responsabilités:
Travailler avec l'équipe de conception des produits pour documenter et exécuter les activités d'assurance de la qualité.
Élaborer et tenir à jour des plans d'essai pour les produits standard mis au point par le département R&D de l'entreprise.
Élaborer et maintenir des méthodologies et des pratiques d'essai qui permettront d'évaluer de manière efficace et efficiente les conceptions de matériel, de microprogrammes et de logiciels nouveaux ou mis à jour.
Tester et évaluer le matériel et les logiciels pour les produits et systèmes nouveaux et mis à jour dans le cadre du processus d'essai et d'assurance de la qualité du département d'ingénierie.
Préparer des rapports d'essai sur les projets assignés et collaborer avec les concepteurs du département pour aider à résoudre les problèmes techniques découverts à la suite des essais.
Faire office d'autorité au sein du département en ce qui concerne les exigences du code et les méthodes d'essai relatives aux produits répertoriés UL/ULC/FM/CSA/USCG.
Fournir des orientations et un soutien afin de s'assurer que le laboratoire d'ingénierie dispose des outils, de l'équipement et du matériel nécessaires pour répondre aux exigences d'essais en cours et à venir.
Établir et soutenir les normes techniques élevées que l'on attend du leader de l'industrie.
Diriger l'identification, la définition et la mise en œuvre de nouveaux processus, politiques, pratiques, normes et outils afin d'améliorer l'efficacité, les capacités et les compétences du département d'ingénierie.
Signaler immédiatement à la direction générale toute déficience des systèmes, des installations, des machines, des équipements et/ou des outils.
Enregistrer et/ou signaler à la direction les dommages causés aux produits ou les cas de non-conformité, le cas échéant.

Exigences et compétences :
Bonne connaissance pratique des méthodologies et pratiques d'essai actuelles dans un environnement moderne de fabrication électronique/de laboratoire.
Plusieurs années d'expérience dans les essais de matériel et de logiciel, en utilisant une grande variété de technologies et d'équipements d'essai actuels dans un environnement de contrôle des processus en temps réel.

Summary:
As an Applications Support Specialist intern, you will be responsible for providing expert technical support to customers, ensuring that Mircom’s fire alarm systems are installed and functioning properly. This This 4-month internship, starting in May and ending in August, involves troubleshooting complex issues both remotely and on-site, assisting with system implementation, programming, and providing ongoing support to resolve customer concerns. Responsibilities:
Provide technical support, troubleshoot issues remotely and on-site, and assist customers with system implementation and programming.
Work directly with customers to resolve issues quickly and effectively, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum system performance.
Collaborate with sales teams on large-scale projects to evaluate customer needs and offer technical expertise.
Assist customers with troubleshooting system errors, performing diagnostics, and providing step-by-step guidance for problem resolution.
Maintain expertise in Mircom products, fire alarm systems, and industry standards while ensuring compliance.
Act as a liaison between field teams, engineering, sales, and product development to streamline communication and execution.
Conduct product training sessions for customers and technicians to improve their understanding of system setup and operation.

Requirements and Skills:
Post-secondary education, currently in electronics, fire alarm technology, or a related field.
Proficiency in reading engineered drawings, schematics, installation manuals, and specifications.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Adobe products.
Strong organizational, project management, and multitasking abilities.

Summary:
The successful candidate will oversee Mircom’s service operations for the Calgary & Edmonton locations. The Service Manager will organize and manage all service activities and performance of the 2 service teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Establish and manage technician installation schedules to ensure optimum work load efficiencies and timely equipment deliveries
Mentor, train and develop skills with Technicians
Coordinate installation activities with General Contractors, Engineers and building officials to ensure all documentation and approvals are delivered

Monitor direct labor hours, project costs, and work schedules.

Requirements and Skills:
3-5 years of experience in the Fire and Life Safety industry
Proven manager/supervisor experience in the Fire Alarm industry
Canadian Fire Alarm Association (CFAA) certification or ASTTBC (Applied Science Technologists and Technicians of BC) certification in fire alarm
University, College, or Technical Post-Secondary education
Proficiency to review drawings, conduct field surveys, prepare all required information to perform complete installation activities
Strong computer skills and competency in Microsoft Office applications
Ability to work flexible hours including weekends to meet customer/technician requirements
Strong organizational skills, a positive attitude and the ability to learn quickly
Possess a valid driver’s license and a clean driver's abstract
Strong verbal and written communications in the English language
Occasional travel between the 2 branches per business requirements

Requirements and Skills:

Summary:
