Summary:

The Lead Business Analyst (D365) will play a pivotal role in understanding and translating business needs into functional requirements for our Dynamics 365 systems. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, exceptional communication skills, and hands-on experience with D365 functionalities. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders, including business users and IT teams, to ensure our D365 solutions effectively support business objectives and drive operational excellence. The role is situated in our head office in Vaughan, ON.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements. Translate these requirements into functional specifications for Dynamics 365 solutions.
  • Leverage your knowledge of Dynamics 365 (CRM/F&O) to provide functional support and guidance. Configure D365 modules as needed to align with business processes.
  • Analyze existing business processes and workflows. Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains through the use of D365.
  • Design and recommend solutions within D365 to address business needs. Ensure that proposed solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with best practices.
  • Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for end-users. Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for D365-related issues.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of D365 implementation projects. Work with project managers to ensure timely delivery of solutions.
  • Coordinate and conduct testing of D365 solutions to ensure they meet the defined requirements and quality standards. Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of business requirements, solution designs, and process workflows. Ensure documentation is updated and accessible.

Requirements & Skills: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Fundamentals or CBAP) are a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 2 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (CRM/ERP).
  • Proven analytical skills with strong ability to analyze data, recognize patterns, and solve problems.
  • Strong Critical Thinking skills to evaluate information and arguments, making reasoned judgments.
  • Fanatical attention to detail with precision in carrying out tasks and spotting errors or inconsistencies.
  • Strong interpersonal skills - verbal and written
  • Highly motivated and ability to work independently
  • Strong team player
