Regional Sales Manager - East Coast, USA

Summary:
Mircom is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Sales Manager (RSM) to lead and grow our presence on the East Coast of the United States from Ohio, south to Alabama. The RSM will be instrumental in achieving double-digit growth, expanding market share, and driving sales through our distributor network. This role requires an individual with exceptional relationship-building skills, a strategic mindset, and a passion for success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, recruit, and manage distributors to expand Mircom’s presence on the East Coast.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, providing training and strategic guidance.
- Develop and execute short, mid and long-term sales strategies to achieve double-digit growth.
- Conduct joint sales calls with distributors to engage developers, property managers, and end-users.
- Organize and lead lunch-and-learn sessions to promote Mircom products to architects and engineers.
- Represent Mircom at trade shows, conferences, and industry events to enhance brand visibility.
- Track distributor performance, monitor sales KPIs, and implement corrective actions when needed.
- Resolve logistical issues related to orders, backorders, and customer support in collaboration with internal teams.
- Identify and penetrate high-growth markets and verticals to expand market share within the territory.
- Collaborate with marketing and R&D to align product offerings with market needs and launch campaigns.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and industry regulations.
- Prepare sales forecasts, performance reports, and budgets to inform strategic decision-making.
Requirements and Skills:
- 2-5 years of experience in sales, preferably in building systems such as fire alarm, security, or related industries.
- Proven ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies.
- Strong organizational, leadership, and customer relationship management skills.
- Familiarity with low-voltage integrators and wholesale distribution is an asset.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- A college diploma or university degree is preferred; equivalent industry experience will be considered.
- Willingness to travel frequently within the territory, including air travel.
