Summary:

Requirements and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or a related field;
10+ years of experience in quality management within manufacturing, with 5+ years in leadership.
Proven track record in developing and implementing quality systems (ISO-9001/9004).
Well-defined approach to managing compliance to regulatory bodies (UL, FM)
Six Sigma (Black/Green Belt) and Lean Manufacturing experience highly desirable.
Strong leadership, data-driven decision-making, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Expertise in quality management tools, statistical analysis, and industry standards.
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across various departments.
Professional Accreditation in Quality Management or Quality Engineering (CQE, CQA, CMQ) is preferred.

Summary:
Mircom is searching for a strong Senior Fire Alarm Technician to join our team in the Greater Toronto Area. As a key member of the Mircom service team, the Senior Fire Alarm Technician will be responsible for performing advanced level inspections, installations, programming, and servicing fire alarm systems, access control systems, intercom systems, and associated Fire Protection equipment. This role requires a high level of technical expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. The Senior Fire Alarm Technician will work with both Mircom and non Mircom systems, providing operational training to end users, interpreting complex technical documents, and ensuring compliance with all relevant codes and standards. Additionally, this position includes leadership responsibilities, such as mentoring junior technicians, sharing best practices, and supporting team development.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform Rack-up, Programming, Verification and Inspection of fire alarm systems, access control and intercom systems, along with other fire protection equipment.
Perform inspections and service on Mircom and non-Mircom produc.t
Complete and return inspection reports in a timely manner.
Provide technical support to customers as needed.
Provide operational training to end-users.
Ensure our customers and end-users have a positive experience working with Mircom.
Read and understand engineered drawings, specifications, programs, schematics, installation manuals, and service manuals.
Provide training and guidance to junior technicians.
Requirements and Skills:
5 years or more years of experience as a Service Technician within the Fire Alarm industry.
Electronics diploma or equivalent from accredited college/university or documented and demonstrated trade qualification.
Technicians shall have Canadian Fire Alarm Association (CFAA) Registration.
Ability to communicate in English both verbally and in writing.
Ability to lift equipment and tools up to 70lbs and climb ladders and scaffolding.
Possess a valid and clean motor vehicle license (G License).

Summary:
The Business Development Manager (BDM) will be responsible for driving double-digit annual growth and expanding Mircom’s market share in the U.S. by executing a strategic sales plan. Principales responsabilités :
Travailler avec l'équipe de conception des produits pour documenter et mettre en œuvre les exigences.

Résumé:
Nous sommes un fabricant de premier plan spécialisé dans la production et l'assemblage d'équipements de sécurité incendie essentiels. Les produits fabriqués sur ce site comprennent des détecteurs de fumée, des haut-parleurs d'alarme incendie, des dispositifs NEC, des bases de sirène et des détecteurs de gaine, qui jouent tous un rôle essentiel dans la protection des vies et des biens. Le directeur de production sera chargé de superviser les processus de fabrication et d'assemblage au sein de l'usine. Il veille à ce que la production se déroule efficacement et réponde aux normes de qualité tout en respectant les calendriers. De plus, le directeur de production contribuera au succès du groupe d'entreprises Mircom en dirigeant l'équipe de production afin de répondre aux besoins des clients et d'atteindre les normes relatives aux coûts, à l'efficacité de la ligne, aux déchets, à la sécurité et à la productivité. Le poste est situé à notre usine de Pointe-Claire à Montréal, au Québec. Les candidats doivent résider à une distance raisonnable de l'usine.
Principales responsabilités:
Rôle de leadership et d'appropriation pour développer, mettre en œuvre et améliorer les méthodes d'assemblage dans un environnement de production allégée.
Collaborer avec des équipes interfonctionnelles pour mener des initiatives d'amélioration continue tout au long du processus de production.
Contrôler les calendriers de production et les adapter si nécessaire pour répondre à la demande des clients et respecter les délais de livraison.
Planifier et organiser les programmes de production pour les employés de la production en créant et en maintenant des instructions de travail et des ordres de fabrication.
Identifier et mettre en œuvre les possibilités de réduction des coûts par la conception des processus, des composants et des produits finis.
S'efforcer d'établir des normes d'efficacité et de travail et réaliser des études sur la durée des processus lorsque cela s'avère approprié et/ou nécessaire.
LDiriger et piloter le processus de NPI dans la fabrication en aidant le département de conception technique dans la conception électronique et les méthodes (assemblage SMT et à travers le trou, test et assemblage final, DFT et DFM) afin de fournir un produit de haute qualité tout en réduisant les déchets et en améliorant globalement l'efficacité et les délais d'exécution.
Prendre l'initiative dans la sélection et l'achat d'équipements de production et d'installations.
Diriger le processus relatif aux problèmes opérationnels affectant la production et les traiter de manière systématique et méthodique.
Fournir les données de fabrication nécessaires aux opérations.
Assurer la liaison avec les fournisseurs et le département R/D.
Embaucher, former et superviser le personnel.
Diriger et encadrer le personnel de production, en favorisant une culture de la responsabilité, du travail d'équipe et de l'apprentissage continu.
Mettre en œuvre et maintenir des indicateurs de performance clés (KPI) afin de mesurer et d'améliorer les performances de production.
Veiller au respect de la réglementation en matière de sécurité et promouvoir une culture de la santé et de la sécurité dans le secteur de la fabrication en formant, en intégrant la sensibilisation à la sécurité, en encourageant les communications concernant les problèmes de sécurité et en appliquant les protocoles de sécurité.
Exigences et compétences:
Un diplôme en ingénierie, mécanique, industrielle ou commerciale est un atout.
Un diplôme d'études supérieures ou une équivalence sera pris en considération.
Capable de travailler de manière indépendante avec un minimum de supervision, tout en étant capable de bien fonctionner dans un environnement d'équipe.
Une expérience de la gestion de la production électronique est un atout.
Certifié Lean ou Six Sigma Green Belt, avec un minimum de 5 ans d'expérience dans un environnement de fabrication utilisant des méthodes Lean.

Summary:
The Project Management Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the Project Manager with managing fire alarm installation projects in commercial, educational, healthcare and industrial facilities, positively representing the company in all client and architect/engineer interactions. The PM Coordinator supports and communicates project progression from inception to completion including design, permits, material delivery, labour schedules, and field installation. The successful candidate will be working from our Maple Ridge Branch in BC.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinates and communicates the exchange of information amongst Project Supporting teams and with clients.
Maintains project plan to keep project schedules on track.
Organizes and maintains project directories.
Assists with Work in Progress meetings.
Ensure AHJ requirements and departmental procedures are followed.
Coordinates purchases and shipments of equipment to site.
Coordinate, quote & track change orders.
Occasional completion of on-site technical work as deemed necessary.
Requirements and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in a technical, business or related field.
Strong knowledge of Building Codes, CAN/ULC-S524 and CAN/ULC-S537 required.
1-3 years fire protection, construction, alarm/detection, or related project management experience.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive and able to multi-task.
Understand and follow all published codes, standards, and unique project specifications.
Excellent communication skills, oral and written.
Excellent analytical, problem solving, time management and decision-making skills.
Must be a team player with a strong work ethic.
Willingness to work a flexible schedule.

Principales responsabilités:
Effectuer l’installation, la programmation, la vérification et l’inspection des systèmes d’alarme incendie, avoir accès aux systèmes de contrôle et d’interphone, ainsi qu’aux autres équipements de protection incendie;
Effectuer des inspections et assurer l’entretien des produits de Mircom et d’autres marques;
Remplir et envoyer les rapports d’inspection en temps opportun;
Fournir un soutien technique à la clientèle, au besoin;
Fournir une formation opérationnelle aux utilisateurs;
S’assurer que la clientèle et les utilisateurs ont une expérience de travail positive avec Mircom;
Lire et comprendre les plans d’ingénierie, les caractéristiques techniques, les schémas, les manuels d’installation et les manuels d’entretien.
Exigenceéts et compences:
Posséder de 3 à 5 anses: d'expérience à titre de technicien ou technicienne au sein de l’industrie d'alarme incendie;
Être titulaire d’un diplôme en électronique ou l’équivalent d’un collège ou d’une université reconnu(e) ou posséder une compétence professionnelle documentée et éprouvée;
Être inscrit(e) auprès de l'Association canadienne d'alarme incendie (ACAI) ou posséder une qualification comparable;
Parler couramment le français et l’anglais;
Connaître les systèmes de Mircom, considéré comme un atout;
Avoir des compétences avec Microsoft Word et Excel, considéré comme un atout;
Avoir la capacité de soulever de l'équipement et des outils jusqu’à 70 lb (31 kg) et de monter sur des échelles et des échafauds;
Posséder un permis de conduire valide (classe G) et un bon dossier de conduite.

Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and functionally driven Team Lead to oversee the successful upgrade, stabilization, and continuous enhancement of our Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations platform. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of business processes and ERP capabilities—particularly in finance, supply chain, and manufacturing—who can lead a cross-functional delivery team while collaborating closely with stakeholders across the organization.
The successful candidate will serve as the functional owner of the ERP platform, guiding ERP administrators, business analysts, outsourced development teams, and third-party vendors through requirements definition, solution design, implementation, and system governance. Initially focused on a 12-month upgrade project, the role will evolve into managing the long-term ERP strategy and continuous improvement roadmap. This is a full-time, permanent role based out of our Head Office in Vaughan, Ontario
Core Responsibilities:
ERP Upgrade & Implementation (first 12 months):
Lead all functional aspects of the D365 upgrade, coordinating between business stakeholders and technical teams.
Facilitate workshops and discovery sessions to define business needs, pain points, and improvement opportunities.
Translate business requirements into functional specifications and oversee their execution through internal and external technical resources.
Review and validate functional designs, test plans, and UAT scripts.
Act as the primary escalation point for functional gaps, change requests, and process alignment.
Support data migration, integration testing, and organizational readiness efforts.
Ensure alignment between business goals and technical execution throughout the project lifecycle.
Post Implementation Ownership:
Lead and mentor a blended team including ERP administrators, business analysts, and outsourced development partners.
Own and maintain the ERP functional roadmap across Finance, Supply Chain, CRM, and related domains.
Collaborate with business leaders to define, prioritize, and deliver system enhancements, automation, and reporting needs.
Manage platform performance, functional integrity, user access, and compliance with internal policies and audit standards.
Govern the intake and execution of change requests, integrations, and ISV/third-party solution implementations.
Champion continuous improvement and promote adoption of ERP best practices across all departments.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of experience with ERP systems (preferably D365 F&O), including upgrades or support roles.
Strong background in ERP functional areas—particularly finance, supply chain, and manufacturing workflows.
Demonstrated leadership in managing ERP teams that include administrators, analysts, and outsourced developers.
Proven ability to interpret business needs and translate them into effective ERP configurations and workflows.
Extensive knowledge of ERP capabilities, lifecycle services, system integrations, and Microsoft Power Platform components.
Skilled in process mapping, gap analysis, solution design, and stakeholder communication.
Experience with system administration, role-based security, and data governance in ERP Systems.
Working knowledge of agile project management tools and methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
Microsoft certifications in D365 F&O (Functional Consultant or Solution Architect) strongly preferred.
Experience with Azure DevOps, Power BI, DMF, and reporting/data tools.
Background in enterprise-grade ERP change management and end-user training.
Familiarity with regulatory or audit requirements in manufacturing or distribution environments.

Perform light soldering operations (surface mount repair, asset).
Maintain a high level of workmanship quality throughout the test and repair process.
Provide technical support for the production lines.
Provide leadership in the testing and troubleshooting of Mircom products through the appropriate use of a variety of test equipment such as oscilloscopes and test fixtures, etc.
Interact directly with production personnel and assist in training new employees on all aspects of testing and repair as required.

Requirements and Skills:
Post-secondary education in electronics.
2-5 years of practical work experience in the testing and repairing of electronic assemblies.
Proven ability to read and understand schematics.
Surface Mount soldering skills.
Basic MS Suite and computer literacy.
Ability to understand both written/ verbal instructions.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Ability to work independently as well as in a diverse team.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with Automated Test programs such as JTAG or Labview would be an asset.
Additional experience with the test and repair of Mircom, Secutron or Securiplex fire alarm systems would be desirable.
