Summary:
We are seeking an energetic PMA (Preventative Maintenance Agreement) Sales Representative with a proven sales record and a solid understanding of fire alarm, security, and telephone access systems. The role involves securing new business through cold calling, field sales, and marketing, while nurturing relationships with key industry contacts. It includes upselling service agreements, ensuring timely order fulfillment, and creating accurate sales proposals. The position also requires addressing customer concerns, maintaining strong relationships, and demonstrating a deep understanding of Mircom's products, services, and market trends. The role is situated in Pointe Claire, QC.
The successful candidate will be highly motivated and resourceful with an aptitude for learning and keeping pace with ever advancing fire alarm and security access technology.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and obtain new sales for PMA service and inspections.
Develop and upsell new and existing accounts by checking customers’ buying history, proactively contacting exiting customers to ensure orders are handled accurately and in a timely manner.
Target new business opportunities using industry contacts and expertise.
Establish relationships with building owners, property management companies, prospects, and industry insiders through a combination of cold calling, outdoor field sales and direct marketing efforts to present Mircom products and services and solicit new business.
Upsell and maintain service agreements with existing customers through a combination of outdoor field sales, phone sales and marketing efforts.
Develop innovative solutions using Mircom products and services to competitively meet customer needs.
Develop a win/pricing strategy based on market and customer knowledge.
Sell new service agreements on all company products and services.
Meet directly with customers to establish their needs and drive overall sales process.
Create proposals for service agreements, test inspections and preventive maintenance.
Quote sales agreements for customers with technical accuracy and within company pricing guidelines
Maintain client rapport by understanding current and future needs by responding promptly
Identify and resolve customer concerns and issues accurately and efficiently and in a timely manner.
Demonstrate and present to customers a thorough understanding of company services and communicate market pricing, customer needs, and competitor information and services.
Acquire and maintain sound knowledge of all product lines and services offered.

Summary:
Under the supervision of the Warehouse Supervisor, the Warehouse Associate will be responsible for the storage, movement, receiving, preserving and staging of materials, while providing the highest quality of service to all customers. The Warehouse Associate will also be responsible for the day-to-day monitoring of physical security in the warehouse, reporting of all security-related issues to management and any other warehouse functions that may be assigned. This is a full time permanent role based out of our Maple Ridge, BC facility.
Responsibilities:
Print/Read picking slips from the system.
Follow procedures on RF picking slips or verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed.
Pick, prepare and move customer orders and related material to checking stage for shipping process.
Use an RF scanner to perform a cycle count daily and report any discrepancies to the Supervisor.
Package shipments securely on pallets, label and provide transportation documents, load trucks.
Receive and store all finished goods from final assembly or delivery carriers in a timely manner using the RF scanner system.
Ensure the accuracy of shipments; confirm the quantity and part number(s) are accurate.
Sort out material by POs and process QC orders.
Receive materials in the system and stamp paperwork with date and signature.
Assist Supervisor with highlighting, collecting, and filing paperwork.
Operate warehouse mobile equipment including forklifts.
Sort pallets and perform inventory checks.
Perform safety checks and preventive maintenance; update logs when machinery is used.
Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times while adhering to all health and safety policies/procedures.
Ensure work is performed in compliance with ISO 9001 quality standards and company procedures.
Perform any other related duties as required by the Supervisor.
Requirements and Skills:
Completion of a High School Diploma or Vocational Equivalent
Three years’ of experience as a warehouse associate is an asset.
Forklift Safety Training Certificate required.
Comfortable working in a computer based work environment including Microsoft Office.
Ability to lift up to 75Ibs frequently.

Nous sommes à la recherche d’un(e) Chef d’équipe – Assemblage de circuits imprimés / TMS hautement qualifié(e) et motivé(e) pour superviser et coordonner les opérations quotidiennes de notre ligne d’assemblage de circuits imprimés. Le ou la candidat(e) idéal(e) possède une expérience pratique des procédés de technologie de montage en surface (TMS), de solides compétences en leadership ainsi qu’un engagement envers la qualité et l’amélioration continue. Il s’agit d’un poste permanent à temps plein, quart de l'apres midi, basé à notre succursale de Pointe-Claire (QC).
Principales responsabilités :
Superviser et diriger une équipe d’opérateurs et de techniciens TMS dans l’assemblage de circuits imprimés.
Planifier, organiser et surveiller les activités de production quotidiennes afin d’atteindre les objectifs de rendement, de qualité et de livraison.
Assurer la mise en place, le fonctionnement et l’entretien adéquats des équipements TMS (ex. : machines de pose automatisée, fours de refusion, AOI, soudure sélective).
Dépanner les problèmes de procédé et d’équipement afin de minimiser les temps d’arrêt et d’améliorer l’efficacité.
Former et encadrer les membres de l’équipe sur les procédures d’assemblage, les protocoles de sécurité et les normes de qualité.
Collaborer avec les équipes d’ingénierie, de qualité et de chaîne d’approvisionnement pour résoudre les problèmes de production et mettre en œuvre des améliorations de processus.
Maintenir des dossiers de production, rapports et documents précis.
Faire respecter les normes ESD, IPC ainsi que les politiques de l’entreprise.
Exigences et compétences :
Diplôme d’études collégiales (DEC) ou baccalauréat en électronique, en génie électrique ou dans un domaine connexe.
Plus de 3 ans d’expérience en assemblage de circuits imprimés et en fabrication TMS, dont au moins 1 an dans un poste de supervision ou de chef d’équipe.
Excellente connaissance des procédés TMS, des équipements, de la retouche manuelle et des normes de contrôle de la qualité (IPC-A-610, ISO 9001).
Solides compétences en résolution de problèmes, en organisation et en communication.
Capacité à travailler dans un environnement dynamique axé sur le travail d’équipe.
Maîtrise des logiciels de production et des outils Microsoft Office.
Maîtrise du français, à l’oral et à l’écrit, requise, aussi maitrise de la langue Anglais pour être capable de communiquer avec la maison mère situé à Toronto.

Summary:

Key Responsibilities:
Achieve or exceed territory revenue, customer, and market share targets through new business development (events, trade shows, referrals, networking, and face-to-face sales calls)

Responsibilities:
Manufacturing Process Development:

Support New Product Introduction (NPI) by defining process flows, work instructions, and tooling requirements.
Design and improve manufacturing layouts to enhance throughput, quality, and efficiency.
Conduct process capability studies and implement improvements to achieve production targets.
Create Capital projects to drive productivity and safety through automation.
SMT Process Engineering:
Optimize SMT processes including solder paste printing, pick-and-place efficiency, reflow soldering, AOI, SPI, and inspection processes.

Requirements and Skills:
University degree in business, engineering, or related field.

Extensive technical experience with electronics product manufacturing.

Working knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing principles.
Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting and analytics.
Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
Experience working in an entrepreneurial, collaborative environment and able to direct and work in harmony with a diverse group of highly motivated and capable individuals.

Summary:
We are seeking a Fire Alarm Systems Estimator & Designer who will be responsible for preparing complete and accurate quotations to be presented to clients, either directly or through the assigned salesperson. This role includes analyzing projects to identify and propose cost-saving opportunities through optimized design and product solutions. The candidate we are searching for will also perform occasional design work, including developing and assembling project riser diagrams, comprehensive shop drawing packages, and associated technical data sheets to support bids and project execution. This is a full-time role based out of our Calgary office.
Responsibilities:
Produce material and labour take-offs through drawings to develop accurate quotations.
Provide project design packages, riser diagrams, shop drawings, data sheets, battery calculations.
Review and understand job specifications and drawings.
Follow through with estimating process to develop competitive bids.
Communicate with clients to gather information, clarify specifications, wording, etc.
Converse with Sales People to coordinate the closing of the bid review.
Occasional site/tender walk-throughs to cross refence drawings to avoid site interferences and identify proactive solutions.
Coordinate with sub-contractors and suppliers to obtain pricing to include within the final quotation provided to client.
Attend scheduled Sales Manager meetings to discuss product, codes and issues.
Coordinate with the project management team to create process and guidelines to help with growing of the new department
Attend and contribute to product training seminars and monthly sales meetings.
Requirements and Skills:
Diploma or degree in Engineering Technology, Construction Management, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
2 + years of experience in estimating, design, or drafting within construction, fire protection, electrical, or related industry.
Experience specifically in fire alarm, life safety, security, or low‑voltage systems is an asset.
Knowledge of NFPA, local building/fire codes, and applicable standards.
Experience working in a growing department or helping establish processes and best practices.
Experience preparing quotations and bid submissions for commercial/industrial projects.
Familiarity with tender processes and documentation.
Valid driver’s license and ability to attend occasional site visits/tender walkthroughs.
