Summary:
We are searching for an experienced Service Manager to lead our Fire Alarm Technicians and all their service activities. He/she will organize and manage all service activities and performance of the service team. Our Service Manager will lead a team of Fire Alarm Technicians and ensure the efficient, safe, and timely completion of installation projects. In this role, you will plan and manage technician schedules, coordinate activities with general contractors, engineers, and authorities, and ensure all documentation and approvals are in place. You will mentor and train technicians, monitor labour hours and project costs, and help maintain optimal material levels and vehicle readiness. This is a full time role based out of our Maple Ridge location in BC.
Key Responsibilities:
Establish and manage technician installation schedules to ensure optimum work load efficiencies and timely equipment deliveries.
Mentor, train and develop skills with Technicians.
Coordinate installation activities with General Contractors, Engineers and building officials to ensure all documentation and approvals are delivered.
Create an environment which achieves ultimate customer service, while meeting or exceeding branch targets.
Monitor direct labour hours, project costs, and work schedules.
Coordinate and assist with expediting material requests, replenishing truck stocks and requesting other necessary supplies for technicians.
Ensure vehicles are clean and in safe operating condition by conducting regular inspection.
Ensure all safety guidelines are followed and that the company is in compliance with all regulatory rules and regulations.
Requirements and Skills:
3-5 years of experience in the Fire and Life Safety industry.
Proven manager/supervisor experience in the Fire Alarm industry.
Canadian Fire Alarm Association (CFAA) certification or ASTTBC (Applied Science Technologists and Technicians of BC) certification in fire alarm.
Proficiency to review drawings, conduct field surveys, prepare all required information to perform complete installation activities.
Strong computer skills and competency in Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to work flexible hours including weekends to meet customer/technician requirements.
Strong organizational skills, a positive attitude and the ability to learn quickly.
Possess a valid driver’s license and a clean driver's abstract
Strong verbal and written communications in the English language
Must be able to handle fast-paced environment.
Work with project management and meet on a weekly basis.
Be part of health & safety team.
Strong knowledge of Inspect Point, D365, Dayforce software a must.

Summary:
Under the PCB Supervisor, the Post Wave and Visual Inspection Operator/Assembler will be responsible for visual inspection, hand soldering, cutting leads and working with various hand tools to produce quality circuit boards. This role is a full time role, afternoon shift.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspection of solder joints, polarity, and placements of parts.
Repair of post wave solder boards and components.
Manually clipping component leads from electronic boards.
Hand solder components onto circuit boards as required.
Use torque drivers for installing parts onto circuit board for final assembly.
Ensuring proper manufacturing quantities are labeled as per job, including all labels on boards, information on finished goods, and quantities on post wave boxes.
Maintaining a clean workspace at all times.
All other duties as required.
Ensure work is performed in compliance with ISO 9001 quality standards and company procedures.
Requirements and Skills:
Completion of a High School Diploma or Vocational Equivalent.
Must be able to read, write and understand English.
Knowledge of electronic components and assembly is an asset.
Works well in a team setting.
Understand IPC specifications as related to PCB & Assembly manufacturing.
Knowledge of IPC-J-STD-001 is helpful along with IPC -610.
Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds), crouch, bend, walk and stand for long periods.

Summary:
We are seeking a Fire Alarm Systems Estimator & Designer who will be responsible for preparing complete and accurate quotations to be presented to clients, either directly or through the assigned salesperson. This role includes analyzing projects to identify and propose cost-saving opportunities through optimized design and product solutions. The candidate we are searching for will also perform occasional design work, including developing and assembling project riser diagrams, comprehensive shop drawing packages, and associated technical data sheets to support bids and project execution. This is a full-time role based out of our head office in Vaughan, ON.
Responsibilities:
Produce material and labour take-offs through drawings to develop accurate quotations.
Provide project design packages, riser diagrams, shop drawings, data sheets, battery calculations.
Review and understand job specifications and drawings.
Follow through with estimating process to develop competitive bids.
Communicate with clients to gather information, clarify specifications, wording, etc.
Converse with Sales People to coordinate the closing of the bid review.
Occasional site/tender walk-throughs to cross refence drawings to avoid site interferences and identify proactive solutions.
Coordinate with sub-contractors and suppliers to obtain pricing to include within the final quotation provided to client.
Attend scheduled Sales Manager meetings to discuss product, codes and issues.
Coordinate with the project management team to create process and guidelines to help with growing of the new department
Attend and contribute to product training seminars and monthly sales meetings.
Requirements and Skills:
Diploma or degree in Engineering Technology, Construction Management, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
2–5 years of experience in estimating, design, or drafting within construction, fire protection, electrical, or related industry.
Experience specifically in fire alarm, life safety, security, or low‑voltage systems is an asset.
Knowledge of NFPA, local building/fire codes, and applicable standards.
Experience working in a growing department or helping establish processes and best practices.
Experience preparing quotations and bid submissions for commercial/industrial projects.
Familiarity with tender processes and documentation.
Valid driver’s license and ability to attend occasional site visits/tender walkthroughs.

Summary:
The Fire Alarm Systems Estimator will be responsible for estimating Fire Alarm System material and labour for projects which the Project Management Office (PMO) manage, regionally and/or nationally within Canada; this includes reviewing Consulting Engineers design drawings, Material take-off (either manually and/or using Procore), Bill of Material (BOM) creation, Labour (hours/cost) estimations for system Test and Inspection and Verification, Quote creation in AX. The Estimator will be required to review plans and confer with Sales Managers and Project Managers, if required, to provide a BOM and Quote for a complete and functional Fire Alarm system which meets the project specifications. This is a full-time role based from our facilty in Calgary, AB
Responsibilities:
Follow through with Fire Alarm estimating process to develop competitive bids.
Review and understand Fire Alarm project specifications and drawings.

Valid driver’s license and ability to attend occasional site/tender walkthroughs.

Summary:
The PCBA Programmer/Technician is responsible for maintaining, programming, and supporting all PCB Assembly (PCBA) production and facility equipment, including SMT and PTH processes such as wave and selective soldering. Summary:

Manage Building Automation System (BAS) projects, ensuring alignment with scope, budget, and scheduled completion dates.
Collaborate with designers, sales, and operations managers to support engineering design, and produce accurate shop drawings, submittals, and as-built documentation.
Review and interpret engineering specifications, building codes, and design drawings; ensure designs meet both customer and regulatory requirements.
Design control systems, including DDC controller sequences, control drawings, valve and damper sizing, and equipment schedules.
Prepare and submit engineering documentation in line with project specifications and internal standards; lead submittal approval processes.
Provide accurate quotations for small projects and change orders based on bidding documents, specifications, and historical performance data.
Offer technical support to field technicians and junior designers; assist in analyzing system requirements and developing solutions for new or existing applications.
Conduct job site surveys, review construction plans, and analyze sales sketches, take-offs, and estimates to inform project planning.
Lead field technicians, ensuring proper installation, troubleshooting, and commissioning of BAS equipment and systems.
Support the development of standard operating procedures, technical manuals, and commissioning guidelines in collaboration with the operations manager.
Review and update BAS software algorithms and graphical standards to ensure optimal system performance.
Gather and incorporate feedback from installation teams and project leads to improve project documentation and execution.
Assist sales teams by providing technical insight during bidding and estimating phases, ensuring alignment with codes and design intent.
Requirements and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Control Systems Engineering, or equivalent field experience.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Building Automation Systems, HVAC controls, or similar field.
Proven experience in project management within BAS or similar industries.
Solid understanding of HVAC system components, control sequences, and energy management strategies.
Strong working knowledge of building codes, industry standards, and engineering documentation.
Familiarity with BAS product lines and related technical manuals.
Experience in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, floor plans, and specifications.
Proficient in AutoCAD or similar design software; experience with BAS software platforms preferred.
Strong communication and collaboration across disciplines.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
